His sprites had started as an edit of Pepito by Quetzalcoatl_88, but over time and consideration I thought revamping them with a sleeker style would be overall better.
I have commissioned O Ilusionista to code the new HSDMs, fix any bugs/general code clean up, as well as an A.I capable of laying the smackdown. He's sent me some cool looking progress so far and there's more on the way.
The sprites have been edited from Shen Woo, Ryo, Ryu, Rugal, and many others. The character is currently being updated, lots of cns fixes, as well as a tougher A.I are in the works.
I will update this topic with any new gifs or news about the character.

Thanks my guy, honestly seeing your KOF Anthology All Characters Pack was one of the reasons I decided to do the SNK sprite style instead of CvS/MvC, looks too fresh.

It looks great. Look at the lenght of his arms, in some animations (http://i68.tinypic.com/2ewi9l0.gif) they look shorter than the rest. And try to use more bases and tweak a bit the ones that are already done, moving an arm or a leg you can distance your character from your base.

I completely agree. Za Warudo, and Ryo's rapid punches need to be touched up, this is my second attempt at doing sprites in SNK's style so there is always room for improvement. Will definitely post them up when they are done.

That torpedo reminds me of Luigi's torpedo move in the Smash Bros Series. Lol. Looking cool so far!
That is precisely what that move is based on. The moves chargeable just like SSB lol Luigi's the boi.

That makes two of us lol. I'm currently spriting his aerial punches, gonna have to make a custom pose for the med one. I can't wait til the character is all done and neatly buttoned up, should be something special. Once again, a pleasure working with you guy.

I currently have no sprite/animations updated to date. I was planning for an October release but it's up in the air, I recently got back into school and the assignments have been a pain in my ass. Once reading week begins I'll try to finish off the hand full I have left.

I appreciate the support man, sucks that I am on limiting time but it is what it is. If all else fails, I can always remove some things and just release him from there, the animations left are an extra winpose/intro which seems beyond my level of spriting. The suplex throw and a rolling animation, so it still up in the air.

Unfortunately the character is not quite done, between the holidays, university, and (laziness on my behalf) RR is gonna need a bit more time. O sent me what he has so far, and it looks awesome. Changes to the spin kick, added/fixed animations/recovery time, Za Warudo now enabled for use according the the power meter (1000 = 3 seconds, 2000 = 6 seconds, 3000 = 10 seconds) There is still a lot to pave out with the character and I hoping to finally get this damn suplex move finished.

...please tell me the first and last hyper temporarily use 1000 power. Those are NOT level 1 hypers.
To answer those quick:
The first one (party animal) was originally designed to use 2000, if it remains a lvl1 then the damage will be fixed
The second (Moon Throw) is one of his HSDM, O just set it as 1000 for testing, etc
Hello, everyone.
So after talking with O, this character will be updated and developed for strictly 1.0 due to changes concerning the AI, I've been meaning to create and share some stuff but between two jobs and school I am struggling to find the time, anyway..
I will be posting more sprites/added moves/any news within the upcoming week. I recently got a hold of the version featured in O's video (It's beautiful lol) and will be doing some additional sprite work and adding missing EX moves and possibly shifting around others.

Just a little update:
I will finally be done the school year on April 12th, as stated previously I will be reworking/adding/smoothing out a version for O to work further with so sorry about the delay, unfortunately I don't have any new screenshots or animations to post but wanted to give some context.

Hey hey..
So, the only EX move left to add is an improved headbutt, then I'll be sending an updated version over to O this Friday. Changed around the jump animations to include a somersault/roll, plus a shit load of other stuff.
While adding things from scratch and previous versions I noticed his power up. He originally had it, but for content purposes it's always been up for debate if it should exist. Should the updated version include it?
