How to make last hit don't go up the enemy

All of you know that the last hit before get KO a character, goes up. Well, I need a move doesn't make that thing, but I can't do it. I used all hitdef controllers could control that, but nothing works.

My question is: it could be possible to make the opponent doesn't go to the air using controllers, or necessarily I've to use a custom state to control that??

You'd need to use a custom state, since the mugen common gethits all have a changestate to 5050 if the character is dead.

Hmmm, that's what I'd afraid of, I already tried to make a custom state for that but I failed on it...

I think I've to keep trying it, thanks for the answer :)

Look at mortal kombat characters, who make the opponent go into dizzy state for the fatalities, and modify the code accordingly.

[state -2]
type = targetstate
trigger1 = numtarget
trigger1 = target, stateno != blah
trigger1 = winko
value = blah

Will need tweaking and may involve a flicker of state 5050 (not sure about that without testing)
