You can just tell that a lot of effort went into all of it. The art, the music, even the frigging logo are so damn impressive. You have a lot of talent and it shows.

Why wouldnt finish him? Would be a disappointment if i dont finish something when i am almost complete. I might end up updating a few thing sense ex fighting layer came out.

Yeah a learn alot knowing how to use Adobe after effect,premier,photoshop and animate. Study more on music theory and I didnt sprite basically a year. I will show some new work tho. Ima try to make my sprite more smooth this year

May I suggest that if you give samples of effects, that you create a GIF within context IE showing someone firing the fireball or getting hit by it or even just next to a character so we have something to compare to. If you just want to show the effect by itself then it would be better to have a black background (especially if it is an additive 'light' effect or animate the effect against a normal game background.
This will just give us a better idea of how it will look in game.

It's mostly just an edited version of Kiwi's Grayscale Index Method (https://2dwillneverdie.com/tutorial/the-making-of-el-zombo/) that balmsold taught me. I usually revert to doing sprites like Diepod (pixel blobs + lasso tool), because I'm a lazy slouch that doesn't do line art to save his own lazy ass.
You should definitely stick with what your method, because it looks slick and clean; if I didn't know any better, I'd say someone from the Skullgirls team made that animation, haha.

When you are animating or creating the roughs, a good practice is to pay attention to specific parts of the animation so you can find what needs to be fixed. For example, her right foot seems to change volume throughout the animation. Even with the perspective change, it shouldn't look like that. Yeah, I realise that since it will be shrunk down to sprite size that it might not be noticable but this is a good practice to take up in general in regards to animation. You will find that focusing on 'volume' rather than 'lines' will improve your work. Working in 3d and/or sculpting (in clay) is a good practice to take up if you want to improve your drawing skills because you will get a better idea of volume but that is really something optional and up to you.
There are other tricks you could pick up that could help you with your skills such as watching real life footage of various actions and motions which will give you a better idea of timing, even if it is not exactly video of what you want to animate EG a video of someone throwing a punch but not the exact punch you want to animate but it will give you a better idea of the timing. This also helps in regards to what the rest of the body would do when a punch is thrown and not just how the arm would bend.
There are always tons of tricks and cheats you can pick up to improve your skills, in general, but you need to put work into what you want to achieve.
Anyway, that was just a little useful advice.

1) Remember to consider ease in/ease out in some of your movements. 2) Some muscles and joints affect other parts of the body EG punching motions affects movement in the back, shoulder and chest muscles and joints, too. 3) Try doing the move yourself in real life or even just specific poses if it is a difficult move to do in real life. Be aware of what happens to your body that you may not consider when you animate by eye. 4) Sometimes an extra frame or two adds to a better motion. 5) Consider adding "motion blur" in motions that are really fast.

1) Remember to consider ease in/ease out in some of your movements. 2) Some muscles and joints affect other parts of the body EG punching motions affects movement in the back, shoulder and chest muscles and joints, too. 3) Try doing the move yourself in real life or even just specific poses if it is a difficult move to do in real life. Be aware of what happens to your body that you may not consider when you animate by eye. 4) Sometimes an extra frame or two adds to a better motion. 5) Consider adding "motion blur" in motions that are really fast.

I would have the second KO animation to blend into the first KO animation or maybe the other way around. It depends on how you animate the KO as it appears on the screen at the end of the round (like scaling) but both are good so that is why I think that one should blend into the other somehow.
