Blossom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImlID5latuI

Alright.
Seriously.
Why.

Why would anyone even try adding fatalities to the Power Puff Girls.
It makes no sense.

There's out of character where it's funny (Rage Rock), and there's out of character where it's just not even funny at all (This, Daimonmau)

Daimonmau was funny with Bebum Ryo.

Then he released a piece of shit Sol, Ragna, Haku-men and I realized he was dead serious.

Not on the power puff girls they aren't.
Adding Fatalities on everything you see =/= cool.

Blossom has Sub Zero moves & Scorpions spear move? o_O

I suppose it's an interesting idea. Just that some of it looks like its been taken out from other MK characters. @_@

Custom moves should only be given to characters if they fit with their personalities.

This does not fit.  PPG + MK = No, just no.

Samurai Jack with Last Blade play style however would be totally welcome and awesome as fuck.

I actually contributed some of the ideas to DG's PPG characters.  The Friendships....Buttercup challenges her fallen enemy to an Arm Wrestling Contest...they get scared and run off.  Bubbles becomes Harmony Bunny and throws a sticker on to her defeated opponent.  Blossom makes a Snow Cone with her Ice Breath.  You can't put those down because they all came from the show and I thought these would fit the characters exceptionally well!

As for DG's MK elements stop picking at them.  It's HIS STYLE of the PPGs.  He's entitled to do & add what he wants.  If you don't like them, keep to yourself please.

To the people that like them & thought they were unique, glad you like them!  He's currently working on more to add with them and I'm helping DG out.

If done right.
And where would we find the sprites to make him?

Friendships (Maybe brutalities too) DO sorta fit with the powerpuff girls in a way but Fatalities do not fit in at ALL, as Super Heroes do not kill their enemies and such (Look at MK VS DC for a reference)
None of us should bitch about this, hell the guy does what he wants maybe he'll add Sexualities soon enough <--- Hopefully not

(Also Why is Buttercup red like?)

For once I've noticed a PPG Fanboy, Never knew boys could get into the show, not making fun or anything but why do you like it that much to defend the topic like that?

You'd be amazed how many PPG fans are out there that are guys Carl.

Also, I have used all of DG's PPGs on my Mugen and they are all VERY well animated.  Ok some of the attacks that the girls have are odd like Blossom with Scorpion's Harpoon or Buttercup with the "Gotcha Grab" but I think that one can be excused cause Buttercup does have the bad ass factor to grab someone and beat them senseless.  :P

DG put a spin on Kitana's Fan attack with using Octi for Bubbles.  I thought it was pretty creative.  Also DG added different elements for Scorpion's Harpoon on Bubbles (Extending Crayon) and Buttercup (Blankie Grab).

Changes are always being made to his PPGs. He's always adding new stuff and removing others.  Just try not to be cynical or judgmental of them so soon.

Really?  Sexualities?  The sarcasm is just demeaning.

You never know, people who convert things to MK gameplay could have perverted idea's  :ninja:

But yet again every creator could do that.

You'd be surprised too Carl. I loved PPG when I was little. So did all the other guys.

The whole thing with Blossom having Scorpion's Harpoon and being able to fatalities is just wrong in general.

I kinda wish someone would make a good and original PPG character. Without all the fatalities.
Friendships can stay because no one dies.

And Brutalities if they don't explode into blood and stuff.

Really?  Sexualities?  The sarcasm is just demeaning.

I lol'd hard at Sexualities.

All these things should be done, I wouldn't mind abit of blood on the Brutalities

As finishing moves on MK vs DC all the Super Heroes just beaten em up some more at the end.

I could suggest a element for Blossom, have her switch to Liberty Bell and grab her opponent with a lasso.

I also noticed some compatibility with both juano's Soul Ninja characters and Borghi's Black Heart characters (though they need more editing for Animus's and Peketo's fatalities to work right with them, same with soul ninja's fatalities)
Title: Re: Powerpuff Girls edited by Doomguy2nd
Post by: JustJohn83 on August 01, 2010, 02:44:14 am
Now Liberty Bell's Lasso would definitely be more fitting for Blossom.  I'll talk to DG about that one.

But yeah I can understand where you guys are coming from with the Fatalities....the PPGs would indeed NEVER do that.  I guess DG wants to make his PPGs more aggressive & hardcore.

The guy loves DOOM & MK too so it appears he likes fusing all of them into one.  Others may not like the route he is taking but he still is incorporating other attributes from the show into most of the moves.

America likes to make Kirby more hardcore and aggressive but you don't see that much of an impact.

Not a fatality.
Just an EX move.

I don't even see the point in adding a winquote screen to the character if he's using 1.0.

Hey hey, don't hate.  PPG is like the most violent show CN ever aired barring Metalocalypse and Superjail.  That's where the irony comes from, it's an action/humor cartoon disguised as a little girls' show.

That's another PPG character using stolen sprites from Buttercup's SSonic (the Bubbles and Blossom which exists are headswaps of the character), when Buttercup was updated, he gave permission for it. But I don't think that maker did the same thing.

Were we watching the same show here? Samurai Jack was far more violent than PPG, and Courage had alot more "questionable" material designed for little kids.

Lol.
Ok, so PPG isn't as violent as MC2 says.
It's still shoehorned alot of "questionable" content if you pay attention.

Not to mention on occasion they would kill the monsters they fought...
Heck HIM gets his teeth knocked out and spits out blood in the intro.
Maybe you could turn down some of the blood, and change some moves(Like Buttercup's weird thing)
Otherwise this is pretty nice...

Bubbles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtXS9zPLkWc
-In the first minute of this vid, you pull off a Lvl. 1 special that does far to much damage.
-Instead of a basic roll, why dont you let Bubble's fly past the opponent in way similar to the roll?
-The flight special could be much better, creativity wise and appearance.
       - Classic blue aura trail the PPG leaves behind during Flight?
   -Dipatch the fatalities please.
-PPG never killed and never will.

Definitely true, remember that one episode with the lesbo kitty and bunny?

so far i like some of the moves they can pull off but really i think Bubbles with Fatality is funny for some odd reasons :D
Anyways i have just one question  ;P when did DG update blossom because if it's today then i will have to do a re-match with her.. again :sugoi:

it is yesterday
anyway, I guess I should post a video link to his updated Blossom

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLrnQPCAUpM

and how Bubbles with Fatalities is funny is maybe because she is ether she is the most innocent of the three girls or is because she has gone Hardcore for some odd reason

edit LOL, I think Doomguy2nd needs to check her "Stage Fatality" as after watching KirbySuperstar101's video.

LOL bleeding clones of blossom, if that's the case then i guess i will download the updated one and give her a match..again, but i am quite excited for that match since after seeing those 2 videos she get's a few new moves, but i still find bubbles doing fatalities funny despite what you say, maybe other then her innocence

i think maybe other then her innocence, she's only funny for fatalities as she was defined for playfulness, and the most gentle one among the other 2  :sugoi: anyways i will get to work with the next round with blossom
