yes you can: you press F12 while game is running, then you convert pcx screenshot(s) in PNG format and then you host it/them on a free hosting website like imgur.com or tinyurl.com

i'll tell you when i at least see one screenshot or a video... you will not have a lot of feedback if you release something without visuals, explanations on what it is: infos like is it animated or high jump compatible? does it come with music?
oh and i can't see nothing in those spoilers :(

I looked at your screenshot and i cant tell if its a volcano or what.
on top of that the die sign has the letter D filled in so it looks like a sideways smile.
Not really something scary.
On the bright side you didnt use Cybasters Stage Tool, thank goodness.

And seriously, does he use Cybaster's tool or not? Previous stages didn't seem like they were using it.
Oh, and next time you post an image, use the ["img"]["/img"] brackets that you can find below the Bold option so they display the image and we don't have to click on the link.

Steps to follow:
- Right click on the image.
- Select "Copy Image URL".
- Put it between the Image brackets I told you.
It should work.

Looks horrible to me. Grabbing a random image and just making that a stage, without caring about quality at all just gives a bad stage. I'm sure everyone can clearly see how bad it is just by looking at the image above.

Look for some tutorials to increase your knowledge on the subject. I'm sure there's like a thousand of them around, with at least one written in an easy to understand way. Honestly, you're not gonna go far releasing poor stages like that one, as seen by peoples' reactions.

I just googled MUGEN stage creation tutorial and there's quite a dozen it seems. :/
Get the initiative to learn kid.
Besides, Cybaster's Tut is one of the most complete one's I've seen.

Fighuass, it takes time to understand a stage tutorial.
I consider taking a look on other people's stages.
Also, using one image as a stage, nothing else, and releasing it as bad, no one should do that. If a stage looks bad to you, you fix the problems there. If you can't make it good, then you shouldn't release it.

because mugen is hard enough on the motivation...so having a fucking tool that turns a single image into a stage is the best way to fullfill all the lazy ass people's dreams out there!

People don't hate the tool, they hate the way people use it.
- If used correctly, the automatically generated stage can be used as a base to expand the stage with animations and stuff, and just saves you some time as you don't need to index the sprites and calculate bounhigh/boundleft/boundright/position of image, etc.
- If you use it badly, then you just have a single layered static image which you try to pass out as a full stage, and you've basically done nothing.

anyway, it's good to start in creating, awesome to have good spirit but you have to know that it's the first step: then, if you haven't done it and if you WANT to improve, learn the shit: test other people stages to learn the various codes, read & learn the tutorials (first Elecbyte ones, then the rest!), put yourself into it and don't get stuck in the easy way
as Cybaster (the beast itself) said, this tool has great potential depending on how you use it

Truth is this stage could look good, just use higher resolution picture and few fancy effects.

I think you cant make nice stage of one picture, there should be some movement in the background, those guys in violet should be animated and levitate around.
You dont put enough effort in making stages, make more details and use more images not only one, 'cause then all your stages are copy of previous.

Considering I'm guessing you made the stage yourself out of MS paint. It hardly looks like a road, it looks more like a mountain on it's period. Bad perspective right there.

basically, what everyone said, specially O'illusionista: right now, it looks weird because the characters are way too high on the stage, which means the number of the parameter "zoffset" (in the stage's def file) is too low !
once again, read around, learn a little, ask for some help even on this forum or somewhere else (in the proper section) before you release anything: at some point people will have less and less patience...and what seemed to be harsh comments here will sound like heaven, compared to what will come, trust me

on the up side: you can post a link of a screenshot (even if not properly): at least there is still hope

We already told him to stop releasing bad stages and just read tutorials, but he's not doing this at all. I'm starting to think if it wouldn't be better to report his threads so they are merged in a single thread. At least we will only have one thread with bad stages.
