Currently adding them all to the new template.  It took me a while but I found an easier trick to port the custom Orochi Pillar FX (at the cost of doing it manually....).

Should be done in a day or two.

All my palettes for Ken are now set for the new template.

Sent.

BTW, for the previous link (and the new set), the changes that were made are FX being greatly fixed (left some with the default), corrected the Skull FX with Orochi Pillar for Violent mode for most, and minor color tweaks for some pals.

Oh yes, I must change my Ken palettes to the current Midnight Bliss version. I feel s to give some of them new FX colors as well.

Goddamn though, it's going to take fucking forever. I have to get each color and apply them individually to the new template. Is there an easier way to do it, or is every program like GIMP?

Uhh... couldn't you just load the palette you're updating into the new template, and then work from there?

Either it doesn't work with GIMP or I don't know how to.

JZ, I make all my palettes with FF.  Is there a way I can do Kyo's effects easily without them looking like shit?

Also, Jmorph, if you're stuck waiting on those Kyo sprites, why not just finish off Ken if you have his sprites?

FX? The easiest way to do those is desaturating the FX to black and white and then using hue/saturation with colorize checked in Photoshop and then saving that palette file and then using Fighter Factory to transfer over to the character palette.

There's also the Gradient tool on FF's palette editor (choose the brightest color, then pick another color and it blends well).  I used both that and Photoshop for FX color sampling.

Gradient tool might need a bit of experience to get proper results.

Or just do them from scratch. I find it easier that way, but you MUST know what you're doing.

Way too much room for error that way.

You should learn how to do it eventually though. Using tools like Gradient aren't always goin to give you the results you want.

Especially the Factory gradient tool.  Never actually goes all the way to the second color; leaves your gradient incomplete.
