Since Evil Orochi's given his permission and since the other members of the "Big 4" have their own topic, we'll pass one on for John.  Every since KOF XI, I thought John and Raiden got the short end of the stick.  Richard Myer too for that matter.  I'm happy we can at least get John in here. 

As always this is an initial brainstorming session for moves.  Evil Orochi is still actively working on the character, so things here could change up a bit.

Unique Moves

-Standing trip (f +sk)


Specials
----------

-Mega Smash (d,df,f +p) Projectile

-Flying head grab (f,d,df +k) Seeking.  Works like Heidern and Leona's

-Close up kick combo (f,b,f +k) Think Robert

-Drill kick (Air d,db,b +k)

-*New* Slashing Kick (d,df,f +k) Lunging kick with slash effect.  Travels a few steps.  Would be ideal if it could have a follow up for the strong version


DMs

Ultra Mega Smash (Need to make this different than Ash's move)
Wave Rider (Alfred's slide into flash kick type attack)

Atomic Smash (Move will only be closer range, but tons of mini projectiles will shoot out

Suggestion for the SDM;

Atom Smasher; The initial move is a strong, fierce looking gut punch. If it misses, nothing it happens. If it hits, we get a big 'THWOOM!" or some-such sound, and everything stops for a good second for dramatic effect. Then John proceeds to beat the the **** out of his opponent using a combination of punches and kicks, (more-so kicks,) whilst moving forward. After a bit of that, the opponent is in a DIZZY state while John jumps away, and when he lands, he fires 3 mega smashes, (though they wouldn't do the damage of 3 actual, separate mega-smashes,) with the last one knocking the foe clear back. It ends with John doing some sort of cool taunt.

So... what do you think?

I like the start, but I'm trying to stay away from Ranbuu style combos.  Every AOF character except Kasumi has them. 

I'm thinking Napalm Pressure:  A fire vortex that does mutliple hits (a la Mature).  I'm not sure I can find sprites that'll work for the fx though.  I'm also not big on yet another "Raging Storm style move".

I dunno.

oh, nice to see that Evil Orochi authorized you (he is a very old friend of mine).

That char has a lot of potential.
