Ya, so this is the fastest WIP I've ever done, in just under a month.  I wanna thank all my beta testers for helping out and hearing me ramble on about ideas.  Neo thanx for giving me the sprite sheet and first pallette a while back!



I really maxed out Palettes on this one.... Complete with Santa Kai!

Most Palz are in remembrance of the Mohawk chars in DBZ :P
Tamborine, Recoome/A16/Tapion, Arqua, Bebi Vegeta, Uub, Bojack's Gang, etc
With a few others.  :P



Hope you all like him.  I tried to think outside the box on this one. Plus he is BellyBuu's equal in the AI department.

Oh and he was made for WinMugen, but I haven't had any problems in Mugen 1.0 yet....

- Supers give back power to Kai.
- Tornado Kicks is an infinite if you get the good rythm :


Even though he has some nice mix-ups and combos, he feels kinda weak in terms of power, compared to other DBZ chars such as those made by Chrono Strife.

thanx for the feedback.  Ya the giving power back in the supers was pure accident.  Which ones was it?  I only found 1 instance of power being given back and changed it.

Also you must have some great rhythm, cuz i suck at that infinite.  Also it looks like you are in training mode in the shot; is the ai able to guard b4 you go into the next one?

I really did try to give him some alternative options to fighting just because supreme kai really isnt as power ful as other dbz chars.  He is definitely far from a goku and gohan in the series.

edit: for some reason in training mode... it looks like he is getting power back.... but in an actual arcade match he doesnt get anything back aside for the one instance that I found in code and fixed.

Nope, impossible to guard. It's a real infinite (tested in the corner only this time).

edit: for some reason in training mode... it looks like he is getting power back.... but in an actual arcade match he doesnt get anything back.
Violet Energy (QCB*2+b) gives back power to Kai.

Also, for visuals, it may be good to add some envshakes when supers hit the opponent. Tornado Kicks could get the shadows removed on the FX too.

ah k, yup that violet energy one is the one i found in there. thanx for the heads up the shadows.

hmm i added a ground.cornerpush.veloff but it doesnt seem to be doing a damn thing. grr

well since that isn't working... i decided to change the hittimes and some of the animation timing at the end.
