A large percentage of stages in the project actually hail from similar hacks, or at least are strongly based around the aesthetic used in those games. Hardpressed to comment further, as my project duties lie more with animating Cammy, making some adjustments elsewhere, and shortly beginning work on Mr.StrongNES/WarFrogNES/OtherRedHerringNES.

Totally hyped. About the stages though, would you consider the old school NES stages released by Cenobite:

It's not a bad suggestion, but outside of the stages for the two "interlopers", we were mainly sticking to SF series stages.

Speaking of stages:

Might tweak the fire/colors a bit, but it turned out surprisingly well for a "guilty pleasure" (I could have easily gotten Krauser's FF2 stage from the same pirate game I ripped Terry's from, but I love his Real Bout stage/theme too much).

Still wondering if I can get away with the choir sample in the BGM.  --;

Remember ladies and gentlemen, super secret ninjas are best ninjas. Thanks again to Eli for rigging up both stage and theme for the original well-known hidden character with difficult fighting conditions, Klassic Reptile!

[Edit] Okay, just got a message from SF2NES team; it would appear this was -not- actually the character I was supposed to be prepping for today's reveal this whole time. Probably should have mentioned something before I asked Eli to do all that extra work... Excuse me as I hastily create the graphics necessary for the proper reveal!
