Hoo boy, gave this one about a minute or two of my time and found the following.

- No readme, so I have to wade through the cmd file, which is a complete utter mess.
- Small portrait is larger than the standard size.
- Jesus, those are some awful CLSNs. Take a look at Elecbyte's documents or this tutorial for the commonly accepted practice.
- The sound rips are simply atrocious.
- Sprites are inconsistent. Her proportions randomly change as she moves, in her idle stance her legs *shudder* pulsate, her breasts expand and deflate at whim's notice.
- The taunt is all wrong. Her sword disappears into thin air and then reappears. She only has CLSN on her back leg while she taunts.
- I don't know what anime or whatever this character comes from so I don't know why there's some little kid or a little girl with a battle axe just standing around doing nothing in the background.
- Skipping the intro, however makes the kid/girl disappear. Huh?
- Just simply pressing Y results in a debug flood. X+Y Ex Attack, almost all of her supers give a debug flood.
- The C hotkeyed super only works at 3000 power, yet only takes 1000 power.
- Her B hotkeyed super does nearly 500 damage to poor old KFM and is a level 1 super.
- Speaking of hotkeyed supers, why are B and Y, two normal attack buttons, hotkeys for the supers?
- This character possesses enough range to nearly reach from across the screen, there is little cooldown for any of her attacks, she has absolute dino damage. From just mashing buttons, I managed to pull off a combo that took roughly 600 damage, with no supers.

And yeah, this character is very flawed. The CLSNs are pretty damn bad.

I thought something's very bad from her. Her sprite animation does also feel pretty awkward if you look at her in Fighter Factory.

Feedback.

Damage is just borked. Seriously...had 2/3's HP and a LVL2...I think it was a LvL 2, super took out all my HP.
For some fucked up reason I had her in Dio's Roadroller Da and out of the blue her multi sword super just came out. WTF is that!?
No damage dampening...and with her broked range and damage output...its that bad.
Comboing...is a joke. No cooldown and WTF-ness ensues.
also, her voices change tones schizophrenically. I'm not sure if its supposed to happen in anime or whatnot...but it sounds bad.

Yeah, this character needs a lot of work. I don't got anything against Hentai characters, but it's just awful. The CLSNs are atrocious, the sounds are badly ripped, there's invincibility frames galore, the sprites are as horrendous as the coding, and change proportion  (seriously, how can you make a character go from muscle-toned to fat and chubby and switch back and forth between animations? Things like that don't work, my good sir) , outrageous range in attacks, overpowered as all hell... I could go on and on, seeing as how there's a whole laundry list of problems.


TL;DR version: This character is bad. Fix it kthxbai :3

She doesn't looks bad at all, but she has some serious balance flaws.

* Her Strong Punch makes tons of chip damage. It was much better not causing chip damage at all.
* Her Crouching Weak Punch can hit too many times in a row. It should behave more like Samurai Shodown attacks.
* Some larger characters will be hit by her sword, even when they are a full screen far from her.
* There's no need of keeping Akira Honjoji sprites in her SFF  :P
* Her supers cause too much damage (yeah, many people told this already)

But even so I appreciated many things in her, original chars are always welcome in Mugen. I was one of those who were hoping for her release, and I really liked your sprite work, I hope I can communicate with you more and discuss about her progress  :) .

i would have never have guessed Cattleya or for that matter Queen's Blade was popular enough that it caught the attention of a prospective MUGEN character creator..

Anyway, I don't know whether to blame some poor spriting skills or Cattelya's look in general, but some fo her proportions look fat and melty in some places.

if your gonna give feed back, give positive helpful feed back, I mean the guy already said hes not a pro at this stuff, so give out some pointers instead of critisisim, I like that he is creating some unknown anime characters for mugen use, he just needs too sharpin his skills in this field, but hey atleast hes trying and not hording the character away like some other mugen creators...

If you look at the past few posts there is feedback.

Like...

Why is there an invincibility frame at the stunt state? It shouldn't be there.
There is too much damage, lessen it.
Put a damage dampener.
She has collision boxes everywhere....Lessen it.

There...simplified in case he still doesn't get it.

also, Beta/new work is not excempt from criticism/feedback.

Whether feedback is "positive" or "negative" is irrelevant. Negative feedback can be helpful just as much as positive, and BOTH are necessary.

In the game design forums I frequent, most of them are too nice. They'd prefer to say "it's awesome" instead of "I like it, but..." Honestly, MFG has some of the best feedback I've seen from a community without quality control. There's plenty of "nice char" and "omg it sucks" too, but :P

If people can't take criticism they shouldn't be designing. The good may outshine the bad in a creation, but if the bad is never mentioned (or if it is, if it's mentioned in a sugarcoated fashion), the creator might not think it's as important to fix as it really is (and sometimes might not even know a problem exists).



As for the character at hand...
Bad CLSNs kill the character more than anything else.

Half decent sprite work.

You need both negative and positive feedback to even make a good character.

We're not all "lol nice char + 1"

This deserves the opposite as the mistakes and issues outbalance the good ones...if there are any....

I suppose you could say that, but that's walking on thin ice. After taking a look through her in Fighter Factory (and yes, I did take the time to examine every sprite, not skip through all the "lol sexy kos"), the proportion in the sprites... change, so to speak. Some times she's muscle-toned and well made out, and other times, she has thunder thighs and is well over the DAT ASS line. And the worst part about it is it switches back and forth between the two frequently.

Now, I'm sure you've already seen this (as has everyone who had the misfortune of downloading this character), so I'll stop stating the obvious and go away. :3

Being a work in progress, the sprites are likely to be improved with time, same for the rest of the gameplay so HELP him improve, dont become all ragey at it.

Also, SkieThekitsune, get a smaller sig is way over the size limit &gt;_&gt;

You are not a mugen creator
we dont know what the hell is wrong with the character

one of those sentences has the wrong subject Oo;

criticism just helps the creator improve his work, as long as it isnt blind criticism , dont let your criticism fall into blind criticism. Being a character based out of an hentai thing obviously means it will have hentai content, doesnt mean he cant improve it.

At least we can see the bugs and the mistakes though. And we can tell the guy what's wrong. I wouldn't mind the hentai outputs but the gameplay is just...well bad.

It's not because it has hentai that it's bad, it's that the entire point of the character was for hentai, and he didn't care about doing a good job with the creation process.

i looked into SFF
at first i felt like omg thi is so gross..
than i looked for this girl on google to see how she suppose to look.
And you know what? Shes pretty accurate LMAO

This character needs to be well coded thats all to it.
I like it, i can see ALOT of work done on sprites.
Ive posted early an HR  sprite - it took me one night to make. Imagine how much time that guy spent on this char? And than he hears tons of flaming and nothing good at all.
Anyways i like this character and im going to keep her. Even though ill have to fix some bugs.

Sprites are ok. I'd give ya that...but the things that you can do when using her and the things she can pull off when fighting against her is just bad.

Besides, how are we discouraging him? Feedback is supposed to encourage him to make things better, regardless of it being negative or positive.

Negative feedback means there are things that need to be fixed to make it better.
Positive feedback means keep up the good work and hope you can make it better.

Hi, first time poster so bear with me.

I've had a look at the character, apart from the various flaws with some of the animations, the blubberous flaps of muscle and the slight lack of good hit boxing the character I would say would work better if the graphics where tweaked a bit. the hit boxes tightened up to the n'th degree, and finally sort of that intro, it's to long and borring.

but for the first Queen's blade mugen character (something I've personally been waiting for) it's passable but still off by miles.

I look forward to the update.

If you've seen grafo_maxi's previous works (such as Sai and Kasumi) then you'll realize that he doesn't improve.

Except this is not his first. It's at least his third.
I know he made a Kasumi and Sai at least 3 years before this. Both were meh, which is far better than this.

Thanks for the reply.
I checked that file but I could only found special moves but not the command to charge energy. In a match against the character the AI can charge energy but I can't.
About the win quotes, I've cheked all files without result :(
