mayyyyybe Wonderful 101

There is no "maybe" when it comes to Wonderful 101, my friend.
It's a great game, and can be found cheaply these days.

And Nintendoland is better than I expected it to be, so it's a decent pack-in.  The ship parts in Metroid controlled great.
Wifey and I had a blast unlocking everything.
But it also can be found cheaply these days, I got mine for $20 around January, though sadly it wasn't the one with the Luigi wiimote.   :doom:

You cheesy bastard, I love how i never saw him

 :ninja:

I vow one day to show a high level character. I am shocked my name was available in Europe server though.

If you make it to level 65, I'll get you an Enigma so you can zip around like a damn flea.  I have D2jsp gold laying around from years ago that can be used on any server.
Unless Amy's rich on EU, and she's gonna be your sugah momma?   :sweatdrop:

@GLB:  Or you could use the Necromancer I snuck on to your account when you were in the other room.

Despite having the same values in the parallax coding, there is floor sliding in the 1.1 version.
Do the Michael Jackson test if you don't see what I mean.

@NoZ: Be careful what you wish for.  Enjoy your 311 and 203 piece puzzles, respectively.

https://www.sendspace.com/file/q8oyqi

Notes:  The floor tile is the last image in each set, 1557 for Paul's set and 4821 in Heihachi's set.
As for images 4619-4623 in Heihachi's set, I don't know what they're for because they're so small, but they belong in his set due to the way the files were setup.

Good luck!

Hey, nice vid.  Always good to see someone promoting the use of BGCtrls.

I didn't get a chance to check out the whole thing, but one thing I notice you doing that you don't have too is reloading mugen every time you change the stage.

If you do shift+F4 while in a match, it'll reload the stage, applying any changes you made.

If you don't want to use this because you think it might confuse viewers unless you explain it every video, that's understandable.
Alternatively, since all the stage info is freshly loaded just before every fight you could just exit out to the character select screen, make the changes to the code, and then start a new fight.

The walls in those are actually easy to rip.
Why can't Street Fighter Ex Plus Alpha stages be easy!?   :bigcry:

That shit's crazy, Tamez. So how long does it usually take to make it look right?

Eh, now that I have my pattern down not that long.  I did 64 images earlier today.
Just annoying saving the same image so many times.  128 more to go for Baek's stage, then arranging the floor pattern itself to be accurate to the source.

Just be sure to use Killing Hawk for the BGM and not Eastern Dance.

I didn't really play Tekken 2 in the arcade much since Tekken 3 was out by the time I started getting into it, so I only have the home soundtrack.
I might see what I can do though.

I hope you guys decide to make Lei's stage. It was one of the coolest stages there, with the Yin Yang logo on the floor, and the dark city backdrop, and mix it all with the awesome bgm ...

Lei's stage will be last if it gets done.  It has the honor of being the most complicated Tekken 2 stage, and it requires animated parralax.
Which I am more than capable of handling, but I'd rather do the simpler ones first.

Just hope i can rip out those BGs better because let me tell you they are a nightmare in a half to do.

Yeah tons of work is put into ripping the tiles from this stuff. I commend Toaster & Tamez for even attempting to rip these stages.

Indeed.  Just to give people out there an idea of how tedious this can be, essentially stages can be around 200 images, but not always individual images.
For example, take a look at this ripped image, noticing the red section I boxed:

This single image has 32 sections like the one in the red box.  Each section has its own palette.  So you have to rip it 32 times, separating out the parts that don't work from the ones that do.  In the above example ONLY the section in the red box is right.

Once you get it arranged you come up with the image below...

Baek's stage. If either you or Tamez make that stage, you will become a God among stage makers.

 :nicepost:

Look up.   :innocent:

I've always wanted to engage in gentlemanly combat with Shwa.

I mean how could I get mad at losing against brutiful combos like those?

No problem.

@Orochi Gill

You posting that you got Super Mario RPG reminded me that I recently reacquired mine.
I left mine in a closet in my parents' house, and it has been there since I moved out in December, 2000.

Yes, I got it for $14.97 on clearance at Toys R Us.  Final Fantasy Adventure I got for $11.98 clearance at Target.
Yes, they are both still sealed.

Xenoblade Chronicles is expensive for a used copy in the U.S. because it was only sold through GameStop, and had a limited initial printing at that.

I first heard about the game from the early trailer on the Wii's Nintendo Channel where everyone had ugly faces:

It was called Monado: Beginning of the World back then and I had no idea of the talent behind game.

Later on I caught wind of Operation Rainfall, and once the game was officially announced that it was finally coming to the U.S. people on GameFAQs were saying that it'd be a good idea to preorder because the game was going to be rare.
At first the game wasn't.  People were saying how their local GameStop had several copies available and that the doomsayers got people to preorder for nothing.

A few months later and suddenly it wasn't so easy to find, and online prices soared.
Some people say that GameStop got another printing made and opened them all up so they could sell them as "used" allowing them to set their own price on the game.
Same theory goes for Metroid Prime Trilogy.

I put a couple hundred hours into it and loved every minute.  I'd say it is totally worth it.
Xenoblade Chronicles X being announced was one of the three main reasons I got a Wii U.

At first I was a little sad that Yoko Shimomura wasn't contributing to the soundtrack for XCX because that was one of my favorite parts of XC.
Then I learned it is going to be the guy who composed for Attack on Titan so everything is ok.   ;D

Whoever I have fun with. I'm probs gonna stick with Captain Falcon.

Do you use Captain Fabulous when you do?
Have you ever participated in Paunch day?
Will you fight my pink Luigi when the game launches?

I'm glad they're making more use of the NFC reader in the Gamepad.

I just hope they don't make the figures GameStop exclusive this time.  As a guy who bought 30+ figures over the course of three Skylanders games, I need my options for BOGO sales.
And especially don't make them random again.  That kept me from bothering with Pokémon Rumble U and Disney Infinity.
