Geez. It must have been years, how can you guys not have gotten used to it by now? I never did mind the blue font much, but at this point it's pretty much become part of the user recognition process like name avatar and sig, not even something really standing out :P:goi:

He is right, since I can never remember his name if the font isn't blue then I wouldn't know it was him who posted it.
And I'd rather avoid certain individual's hilarous hissy fits!

Guild needs more Nazi mods, too many "good guys". So I promote Noah for mod,
I'm busy with work/Lack interest.
No seriously, the current staff is doing a good job (I'd definitely change one or two guys though)

plus it will show that in Guild doesn't discriminate users regardles of their sexual prefference.

:brood: sup Nevermind.

@Noah: sorry I'll stop now. :P

Anyhow, yeah Guild's staff does a good work, for example whenever people complain about how Guild is too uptight and would ban everyone who dares oppose them I can't help but think "if you guys had been around during the old Guild you would have been banned before you could start bitching". Really, if someone does something bad they let him know what he is doing bad and ask him not to do it again.

And there are some extreme cases of idiots that even with such friendly approach decided to bitch about it because teh forum has rules, like that guy who mad e abig fucking deal because he was told not to bump old threads for no reason.

tl;dr: nowdays you must be a really stupid and annoying troll to be banned from Guild.

When I got Admin status, I  found out several pm reports where he demanded me to be demoted for telling him what to do. It was... awkward, if he wasnt so serious and insistant about it I would have truly believed it was a joke.

banned people

absolutely, the highlights of my week on the guild were telling people to be nicer through pms, and sending equally nice but firm additional warnings.

I like the idea that no one is too stupid to be banned as long as they're nice and friendly and open to new ideas, and how nearly everyone will be given second and third and fourth chances.

edit: seeing as we're on a roll here, http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?action=profile;user=electrocaid

electrocaid deserves the contrib as well for his efforts :P

Someone who does something for the engine. Hell if you give really good feedback for other people's stuff, you can be a contributor (that's how I first got contributor).

I got mine when I released the Freddy Krueger stage.
I think it was because I went through the proper channels of development.
I asked for tons of help and feedback from various people and I accepted a lot of creative input and nearly all of it made it into the stage.

That or the fact I paid Valodim ten bucks for the purple and gray stars.
$5 each. :)

I was a newcomer, posted some crappy feedback on unknown and ignored creations, as well as "moderating" topics by telling people what to do or not. I got bumped to contributor in 3 months and Global Moderator the month after. True Story.
