...whomever it is that is ponying up the cash to keep the Guild running (ad-free no less!).  I'm not sure how much it costs to keep this place up and running month to month, but I truly appreciate having a place to browse the latest releases (and upload my own to boot).  With the increasing annoyance of advertisements in places like YouTube (ads in the middle of the video wtf), it really makes you stop and think about the cost of an ad-free experience.

From a cursory glance:
  • Created a Statedef of MoveType = A.
  • Created a HitDef with a hit attribute of a Throw, a p1stateno parameter that puts Fiona into a state to drop the chandelier on the opponent (effects), and a p2stateno parameter to put the opponent into a custom hit state to react to the chandelier dropping with a SelfState state controller at the end to leave that state into a falling state presumably.

I wonder if there's a better way to include boss/hidden characters. Can something be done about that?

I second this.  It would be cool if there could be conditions to unlock them.

I started with MUGEN wayyyy back in 2000-2001 when I downloaded some DBZ character compilation.  Then I realized that the engine could be used to create your own characters and stages.  I joined the now defunct Mugen DEV forum and went from there.

Some names that stuck out in my mind from back then:
  • Cadicle (Helped me with my first character)
  • XGargoyle
  • Samanosuke of the Saito Clan
  • ShinRyoga
  • Kazmer13
  • N64Mario
  • Kung Fu Man
  • Richard Lockard (inspired me to start with digitized characters)

You are using var(1) for your transformation variable.  It is most likely being reset between rounds.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the criticism about the Infinity Stones.  I was planning on using them for cosplay purposes, but since we can't even take them out of the box, that idea is essentially quashed.

Don't forget to reset the value of that variable to 0 in the dropkick activation state.

You can do it as a helper or an explod, Explod is possibly slightly easier.

I think it's also worth noting that you'll need to "refresh" any Explods on every tick by removing them (only if their ID is detected) before re-creating them.

You can also hit the "Start" button without ending the intro.

Oh, you.  I was just getting ready to say this same thing.

Ohi.  I found a bonus stage.

Requirements
  • The character will only work with Mugen 1.1.
  • The character will only work with the included stage.
  • The character must be in the P2 slot in Single Team mode.
  • 1 Player only.
  • The game resolution must be 640x480, 1280x720, or 1920x1080.
Notes
  • Any character may be used, but not all characters are guaranteed to be compatible.
  • Even though this bonus stage attempts to automatically turn a character around when Back is held, characters that would normally block while holding Back may be stuck blocking and will not turn around if near certain enemies.
  • Moves which utilize the Back button may not work, because characters will automatically turn around when Back is held.
  • Taller characters may have a more difficult time progressing through this bonus stage as the number of enemies on screen at the same time will increase as the stage goes on.

Based on what I've read, I'm assuming that you might want to try something like this?
Place P2 into a custom state.  For every tick that you want the target to be bound in the center of the screen:

trigger1 = <Whatever Trigger>
X = -ScreenPos X+floor(GameWidth*0.5)

The idea is that the target's position is first set to the left edge of the screen, then we add half of the game's width.  As the screen width changes, the center of the screen also changes.

There may be another trigger you could use to get the total width of the screen, so it will require some experimenting.  I'm not sure how zoom will affect this either since I haven't really experimented with it.

  • 4k streaming has been mentioned. - What this likely means is playback of content such as Netflix, etc. Not gameplay.
  • 1080p and 60fps are being used by the marketing teams in relation to gameplay on to the console portion. I've heard unconfirmed rumblings of 900p for the infamous hybrid part of the device.
