The Mugen Fighters Guild - Help resizing character select icon

Hi, I recently downloaded KOF WOJ on my computer after KOF Ultimate edition or w/e failed to work. I have been having troubles adding characters onto my game.

Here is the first issue I came across:

The character select icon is too big! I tried looking into the folder with characters in them and but I can't find anything consistent(The character next to Kyo has an ICO file the size of 48x48 whereas mai nor waha- does not have any image files!). How do I adjust the character icon to fit?

Next problem I have:

The character does not show up on the character select as opposed to Kyo in the previous image(Kyo and Iori were already included within the game when I downloaded but every character I imported shows no character).

This is also the case when you select the stage and wait for the game to load as shown by the picture here:

Can someone shed me some light on how to fix this issue?
