Everyone keeps forgetting that Brazil defense positioning was an absolute mess and everyone was just committed mistake after mistake. Germany scored 7 cause Brazil allowed it with that mess of a defense. Argentina defense played really well, with order and checking Netherlands threats.

The game itself was a lesson of defense from both parts. Dat Ron Vlaar damn, this guy is really something.

As much as I want Argentina to win I fear the Germans might batter you guys. Argentina aren't the same without a playmaker like Tevez. Even with your world class Messi Argentina still haven't performed to their full potential at any point during this world cup. You guys have been very lucky in qualifying this far. If Argentina play like this against Germany you will most certainly get battered. Maybe even another Brazil all over again no joke. Messi doesn't have the star quality service with Argentina that he has with Barcelona and without tevez there to bulldoze Germany's defense can't see you guys winning.

Germany can definitely beat Argentina but like Brasil?? I absolutely doubt so. What happened with Brazil was something else.

People are still hyped with that 7 - 1. Hopefully the Germans are already focused on Argentina, no Brasil!!!

Brazil's weakest team in history got battered. I didn't expect much going into the world cup especially when half baked neymar is the "golden child" of the team. I also do not expect much from this Argentinian team either they haven't played well throughout the duration of this world cup. Messi doesn't have the support he needs. No Tevez and Maxi Rodriguez may as well be anonymous on the field. Germany are a team that are well known for consistency. They are like robots that play at the same pace all the time. If Argentina can't keep up. They'll get battered or at least suffer a comfortable loss. They have been lucky to get this far and luck eventually runs out. This could be a bad loss.

Well, 2014 Argentina team has most of it's bases from 2010 Argentina team.
And so does Germany.

2010, Argentina got clobbered 4 x 0 by Germany at the quarters of final.
I don't see why it would be much different this time, specially since Germany is much more experienced now.
