I can't access Broly's sheet at all. Apparently it's a matter of popularity (how many people trying to access the same file at the same time), because it worked great with Majin Buu and other lesser saiyans :P

I think it's because the file is too heavy. My browser (Opera) crashed with those too.

And it just happened again when I was uploading it on IMGur. Let's see if it works.

It also crashed when I opened the spoiler. They mysteriously work in Internet Explorer :S

Man, these sets are amazing, they're breathtaking.

What really makes these sprites stand out the most are the colours I think! I love the faces and I love Krillin's, Brolly's sprites and Mr. Satans face and  all these keyposes and and and, but hell there were really great artists working on them colours:

Here I put some Brolly transformation into action - with a decent background colour the colours SHINE haha


also that animation is smooth!!! I wish all animations were as smooth as the stance - please guys admire that subpixeling!


I'd love to hear Diepod's or Ink's take on that spriting - It for sure looks like they were drawn at a higher scale and then reseized right?

I animated a few as well, I edited the Goku ones though/



I like how very spot on the faces look! They put a lot of love into these pixels. Just look at Meta Cooler! Wow.

This one is for ICED...I edited two frames so it looks more smooth: (the legs switch has a weird axis on the rips, maybe Roshi does a stepforward in the game to create a smooth transistion there - I just placed them the way they were ripped here)

Get to work on broly , see if you can animate his move where he slams the opponent face into the ground and then slams down on them repeatedly. The frames are there.

Any impressions on how the game plays? Like if its good or not?

DBZEB is a 3 button game with just a couple of specials, after all.

[...] It does seem pretty repetitive : one main chain attack, up fireball, down fireball, ultimate fireball, same for everyone.

yes but linked with his stomp, which then repeats.

Make the part where he smashes down last longer and add in the initial arc, he jumps forward,s graps opponent with his outstretched hand and then smashes them down.

follows it up by stomping on them repeatedly with both legs.

Please point me to the right animation beginning - I must be blind from that bright green background?

with broly being hard to sprite and all, i wonder if you Z2 guys are gonna make him from scratch or simply extend and refine this one?

I took a quick stab at this 4 frame animation. Seeing how easy and fast these fixes are made, I really wonder why they didn't go for a few more frames there (if the spriter is doing the animation, it literally costs him only a few minutes to push these pixels around to create a "new" frame that makes the animation way smoother)

Also guys, use this as a small "tutorial" to add more frames inbetween to make these sprites mugen character worth material.
