Hi there I'm thinking about getting Hi-res Mugen but I wanna know these things first.

1. Is it posible to have the Hi-res mugen and the lo-res mugen exe in the same folder?

2. is the exe the only thing that activates the hi-res?

3. do the lifebars need to be hi-res?

Tanks.

1. Yes, just give them different names. However, they won't be very useful used just like that. You'll have to create batch files launching the right screenpack, so that each exe uses the screenapck and stages it's supposed to.

2. Yes.

3. In high-res mugen, the game is blocked in high-res, so yes you'll need high-res lifebars.

Note that there are several high-res mugen :
- The 1st one that appeared, which can read only high-res stages, and has low-res select screen.
- 2nd one : high-res stages only, and high-res select screen.
- 3rd one hacked by KFM, which can read only low-res stages, but has high-res stages select screen.
- The last one, the most famous one, called WINMUGEN PLUS, which has high-res select screen, and can read both low-res and high-res stages, provided that the high-res stages have just one additional line of code in their def file.
