I don't know your work method, but a more complex separation could be done by doing the basic one first, then do the complex over it; that would also help you to grade the difficutly. That comes natural to me because regarding separations my method does one "object" for each pass.
My work method is similar to yours as i separate one or two parts of the character each pass. Should i also gauge the price on how many frames the character has?

Does anyone know here i can find this unibeam FX on an angle?

I do know that i can use angledraw to angle the FX, but it is incredibly tedious to draw collisions for it. The constant trial and error is an absolute pain, especially when i have to draw them on 4 different beams of various sizes. any help with this is greatly appreciated.

IIRC, damage scaling on POTS style characters doesn't go into effect until it reaches 7 hits. Then the damage will begin to drop. Its standard in all of the pots style characters (Atleast the ones that i know of. POTS, Jmorphman, DW, etc.) I could be wrong though.

So i am thinking that this will be what batmans separation will look like in the end.

I'm still quite an amateur at CS. Sometimes i will have an issue with separating certain sprites if they're in a certain spot. Fingers can be really tricky at times which is why i try to knock out smaller parts of the sprites first.

Did an update to the sprite of bane.

This Sprites has reduced colors so each of the color groups should be in between 1 - 8 color blocks respectively on the palette table. His skin had 13 shades which was fucking insane but i managed to drop it to 8.

Well this is going to be an absolute pain in the ass to separate.

his whole sprite set is going to take quite a bit of editing/color reduction/seperating, but i am quite satisfied with the result.
