Nice character man, but I do have one problem. It won't let me control the character due to the AI.

Addressed and fixed.
Update:
- Fixed a glitch which makes AI sometimes take control.
- Reduced Stand's Air Medium hittime by 5f.
- "This is our true path!" now can be chained into itself 4 times during one combo.

It isn't a glitch. Your custom pal just doesn't work on this Giorno because he doesn't use Amarimono's CS.

1: I did use the description's link. It was likely the wording that confused you.

2: I made that palette with your Giorno, so that can't be the case.

I'm sorry for replying to a topic this old, but I currently can't send private messages about the matter (I'm super new here), and I don't believe this requires an entirely new topic to talk about.

I've enjoyed your characters thoroughly and almost every single one you've made, I've added to my roster. My issue stems from the fact that some characters are able to do moves that they shouldn't be able to do. For example. DIO is able to use checkmate and throw knives while not in timestop. I understand you can do an air variation, but he's doing it while on the ground. But Giorno makes probably the worst of it simply for the fact that he can do 'Return to Zero' without having to transform GE's Sprite will quickly switch to GER when this happens. Another issue, which Fugo actually shares with Giorno, is the fact that you can't cancel a dash into a dodge, like you can with other characters. I have to physically let go of foward, the press down to crouch because he still carries momentum for a moment and this is needed to cancel it out, and then I can dodge. The issue is that it gives a considerable hangtime between the two actions, and they're the only two JoJo characters that have this Issue, even with a newer release like Bruno don't share the same issue.

Update:
- Universal Jojo System change: Stand Strike (D, DF, F, c) now causes Stagnant to opponents.
- Universal Jojo System change: Stand Strike can be whiff-canceled from all non-Stand involved ground normals.
- Stand Gauge will be hidden when tagged out.
- Dodge can be canceled from dashing.
- Added missing sounds to Return to Zero.
- Now uses Van's Buffer System.
- "Life… is born!" now hits more consistently.
- Fixed a glitch related to Stylish Cancel and Taunt.
- Fixed a glitch which makes Requiem able to be hit during the tranformation.
- Requiem Transformation now takes 140 frames instead of 150 frames.
- "Life, spring forth!" X and Y version now causes Stagnant to opponents.
- All normals are now air-blockable.
- Now uses fall custom state.
- All Stand normal attacks are no longer can be whiff-cancelable.
- Adjusted cancel timing of a certain attacks.
- Stand's Be Grown now launches opponents higher.

OMG what an upgrade !
As I told you in the Discord the system he had was a complete mess, HOWEVER, I am glad that you took my feedback and actually made Giorno very usable and self explanatory when it comes to combos.
Great upgrade !
I am buzzing to see what you're gonna do with the rest of the cast

Edit When he transforms the track plays for a long time why not cut it a tad bit shorter.
Edit2 some of his hitboxes are really unfair I suggest taking a look at Jotaro's hitboxes and go from there.
I did find some  bugs though :P

I have the same bug, also in a watch match with two giorno, both just only make tree and jump out of the screen.

I'm aware of that but it would help me more if either of you could give me the condition to trigger such behavior. That would give me some ideas where to look and fix. Right now I'm just extremely confused and can potentially hurt myself.

I just went into training and did his transformation.
After I transform and try the level 3, 1 giorno will appear that transforms and the one I had before will do the requiem hyper.

Also thats not how a standing jab works.

I see. Here goes the update which fixes all the elephants in the room:
- Fixed Transformation problem.
- Fixed bork AI.
- Fixed bork hitboxes.
Tis should be fine for now so go re-download him folks.
One thing to keep in mind that ASB hurtboxes are pretty bork like that and doesn't really align itself to the sprites like HFTF but I will try to make him having the best of both worlds as trying to make the box too closely to sprites can make a certain BnBs from ASB not doable.
