Hopefully it's more like the old games and The Ballad of Gay Tony rather than boring vanilla GTA IV.

Yawn. Saints Row 3 is out in three-odd weeks, and it's going to be better than GTA5. Rockstar need a miracle to swing me back.

Yeah I don't see how this is going to beat out Saints Row 3 either unless they really re-invent some of the game or go back to the old GTA style.

Guess I'm the only one who liked GTA IV the most for how realistic and atmospheric it was. D:
Realism is a bad reason to play video games imo. The crazier the better.

Also Saints Row can fuck off. Take that discussion elsewhere. I'm loyal to this series and its games have pretty much always been a determining factor for the next console I buy.

That game is far too silly to steal the audience of GTA fans, it's not the same as Saint's Row 1 or 2 in how it was a GTA game with added twists you always wanted. Like character creation and cool online play.

No...fantasy within a realistic environment can be just as fun. It gives you the chance to do things you always wanted in real life, without any consequences. In GTA's case, break the law, survive impossible situations, live a life that you've dreamed of.
With that said, I'm hype for this new GTA, for sure.

everyone that prefers gta over saints row (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN2-WSyRuO0)
everything before gta4 was great. But the only way this game can even compare is if they add alot of unrealistic things and make references to previous gta games and if the rumor is true about the game taking place in los santos, then it needs to be a damn sequel to san andreas. That would make it comparable to saints row.

They need to bring back assets missions and improve the garage system. I still don't understand how they could make garages worse than the previous games, they already sucked.

Making the best GTA would be dead easy, honestly. You don't even need new locations. I wrote this 5 minutes ago:
You play through all the locations of all the GTAs relesed so far, in chronological order. And during your gameplay you meet all the main characters of all the GTA games and interact with them somehow, without messing up the series canon.
You see how your character grows up and evolves during the years and can either become the mafia boss, or a corrupt cop or even the president of USA or something like that. The choice is yours.
You will be able to see how all the cities and places of GTA1 and 2 would look like in High Def 3D graphics!!!
DLC: On certain missions where you interact with the known chars you can change the future! (Like killing them before they were supposed to die). This will affect GTA IV aswell! :o
Im still waiting for a sandbox game that lets you go inside every building and every room in the game.
In this game you can... but there's nothing in most of the buildings

From Kotaku
Quote
Strengthening long-standing rumors for years that the next Grand Theft Auto would be set in Los Angeles or a fictional version thereof, a source familiar with the game told Kotaku today that those rumors are true. GTA V will be set in some version of L.A., bringing the famous franchise to a place that last got the GTA treatment in the series' top-selling Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Okay. Unrealistic things don't equate to a good realistic sandbox game (Of course.), and they don't need to make any references to any other GTA game, perhaps improving on some older GTA elements that were abandoned before. Nostalgia =/= Good game, and then you look at Liberty City and it's changes you can say that it's not a requirement at all for it to be anything like it's older incarnation.
What the game probably needs is just a new graphics engine, better mission design, an innovative or even full cooperative multiplayer, gangs, a long well-written plot and RPG elements that improve on San Andreas'. Like going to the gym makes you buffer, eating too much makes you fatter, clothes improve sex appeal, the like, but then going above and beyond expectations. Which is how you make a good, wholesome game.
That game is far too silly to steal the audience of GTA fans
hahahahahaha what
The video starts with the main character doing leap frogs over people, doing wrestling moves on the civilians of the city, hitting/shooting them in the balls, hitting them with dildos, using oversized fists to make people explode, dancing stupidly with prostitutes, blowing gangs up with overpowered missiles, dressing up as a space man, and going on a rampage with space jets, kitty trucks and tanks.
The GTA audience doesn't particularly look for this kind of silliness. While it looks fun, it's not going to just steal the GTA fanbase. It'll be outsold.

The only thing I liked from GTA IV was its physics, which allowed you to do crazy hilarious stuff. I'm sure some of you have seen videos about this.
Personally, I'm half expecting this game and half hesitating because of the previous one. The thing about them using L.A. means nothing to me. I want it to be a good game, then I will worry about the place they use this time. I will obviously wait for some people to tell me if I can trust the GTA franchise or not again when the game is released.

Hello, Mr. My First GTA Was 3.
The fuck does that have to do anything? My first GTA was 3 as well and even then I can recognize how it's a bit closer to Saints Row in terms of craziness than say, GTA4. In fact, GTA3's my favorite FOR that reason, gore cheat is fucking awesome, and dicking around was just... so much fun. I want more than anything else to have that craziness back, to have Lazlow be FUNNY again. There was hardly anything in GTA4 that made me laugh, but dear god, the dialogue in GTA3, Liberty City Stories and San Andreas, those are just genius. They show they can be serious AND funny, sometimes at the same time.
With that in mind, they need to get rid of the TV shit and just focus more on the radio scripts, because that's where I'll be playing most of the fucking game. I don't pop in a game to watch the virtual television, that's just stupid.

And that's all fine and dandy. It's okay to appeal to both audiences, because that's what GTA does, considering that pretty much every game can please both people who love serious sandboxes, as well as being wacky, but controlled wackiness. Saint's Row 3 is just ditching that serious aspect in favor of overexaggerated fantasy fun. GTA won't do that, but that's part of why so many people like it. Don't give a damn if you can't fly around with a Mickey Mouse suit on blowing up the city and fucking big tit prostitutes, it might be fun, but it's not the kind of fun those kind of people are looking for.

San andreas already had most of that and it was dumb, nobody cared about it because it would deteriorate as you progressed(lol realistic). Saints row already lets you adjust the characters structure at any time of the game, and they stay that way till you change it.

For one, it only deteriorated if you didn't do said action for extended periods of time, which does happen in real life. It's not like you work out in real life and get big then stay that way your whole life. :-\ Secondly,

Lastly, alot of people liked it because it was a good way to open up other aspects of the game, like it's melee system when it came to the gym, because you could do some fighting at the gym and do good melee attacking. If you upped your firearms skill, you could dual-wield, stuff like that is nice, because it mixes it up and makes it feel like you are actually making progress.

Sonuva... well I might give the complete addition a shot since never played the dlc.
I want to see how V looks first before...anything. I had no problem with IV,it was fun. There just wasn't much to do outside of the core missions and the story, while I thought it wasn't bad, never really helped me feel like was more than a lowly thug doing someone's dirty work all the time. And those rubber band car chases really blew...I hope they keep those to minimum.

Why would someone constantly workout in a video game thats not wii fit, you might aswell just play wii fit. I get that you would want to keep your character fit or in shape but that deludes the purpose of playing a grand theft auto game. 3.6 in one day to 6.8 by the end of the year, that should tell you something right there. Since when does sales mean fanbase. Your ratio already proves that people slowly stopped buying the game.

So that they can progress in the game, make it seem like they are more than the wimp they was before at the beginning of the game. Plus that's not even the best feature of that part of the system that I mentioned. Deluding the purpose? Whatever.

San Andreas had a dildo. And you found that dildo in a police station. Very serious and realistic game!!
In terms of "realism", the existing Saints Row games are not that much different from the GTA games. Who are you to say the demographic for these games aren't the exact same people. You've been lending a lot of "insight" to threads when you have very little business doing so.

It has to do with GTA1 and 2, despite being 2D games, being even more batshit insane than GTA3 ever was. Saints Row 3 doesn't need to steal any more of GTA's fanbase because SR and SR2 already have stolen its fanbase. GTA has its new super serious market, while generally people that started with the sillier 2D games have migrated over.

The game still went on to outsell SA. I still don't see where this argument is going. Why can't two games which do slighty comparable things exist in the same market? Why does it have to be the sequel to SA to beat SR3?But none of that matters. Why can't it just be a good game?

Haw. Except this isn't the main draw of the game which is the case with Saints Row 3, which only got crazier and crazier with it's plot to the point where now things like this is what's mainly being advertised about the game.
In terms of "realism", the existing Saints Row games are not that much different from the GTA games. Who are you to say the demographic for these games aren't the exact same people. You've been lending a lot of "insight" to threads when you have very little business doing so.
The new Saints Row game isn't quite the same in that it's gotten to the point where silly and wacky antics are the selling point of the game, instead of an excellent plot and immersive atmosphere. And I have every right to share my insight in topics on this forum because I've registered here and opinions make the world go round. In CvTW's case, it's my job.
So they can just go back to playing Saints Row and let this new group buy more Grand Theft Auto games.
If I want realism and don't want to get caught doing bad things then I can just play Grand Theft Auto. Shit, that's what it's for. I don't need some ridiculous dildo bat and a bunny suit to have fun. Keep that shit out of my Grand Theft Auto

Because even if it's good people will scold it for not being realistic and not letting them have this:
Would rather play a GTA game then a Saints row game myself. I prefer the more serious approach GTA games take.
Besides, why would I want a knock off copy of GTA when I can have the real deal.
Because the more serious approach has made GTA... not GTA. It's a sombre, joyless brown-and-bloom shadow of its former self. This is the point I was going for with Cazaki and JZ, and I'm going to be an elitist fucktard over this; if you didn't start with the fuck-awesome silly 2D GTA games, you don't have the right to talk about what the "real deal" entails. Saints Row is closer to the "real deal" than the newer GTA games ever will be.

N00b. And that's exactly what you as a collective are; you're jumping in at the third game of the franchise and you think you know what constitutes a GTA game.
By all means, enjoy the game if you can, but you can't talk about something being the "real deal" without regard for the original.

Lets be fair, a little smaller means less nothing like in the original city, sure it was fun to hike around, but it was just there to say they made a place that big. Trailer was fantastic and if this is half as good as either RDR or L.A. Noire I'll be more then pleased.

As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future. We are sorry if you find this frustrating, but please understand, we don’t do this because we ‘don’t care about our fans' 'don’t respect our fans’ 'hate GTA fans etc' – precisely the opposite! We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprises when you play it. The only things we care about are that you enjoy the experience of actually playing the game and that we release accurate information. We just have not been in a position to show more of the game than the trailer and will not be for a while yet. We did, however, manage to sneak a quick screenshot out for you… it’s not much, but we thought it was pretty fun.

They've added three new empty slots on their picture section. Maybe they plan on filling them in by tomorrow as well. Country side is looking to be awesome.

If I can use the transport trucks to steal multiple cars unlike in san andreas I'll be really happy. Since the infernus isn't changing, I'm hoping for a new separate nsx knock off.

I thought the exact same thing; seriously hoping that isn't the finalized texture. Although if that's supposed to be a river of K-Y jelly, they have succeeded.
That said, everything else looks remarkable for current (aging) gen consoles.

So you agreed with him but then immediately pointed out why you disagreed with him? Ok.
Yeah I dunno why I bother trying to point out obvious shit to people who have no idea what they're talking about. If you associate the water in that screenshot with KY Jelly, then maybe you need to go look at a real river instead of said jelly that's in your peripheral vision.

During the Take 2 investor meeting held today, Dan Emerson talked about the company’s outlook citing Borderlands 2 as being well received as well as mentioning the soon to be released 2K Sports NBA 2K 13. There’s more positive outlook with XCOM Enemy Unknown releasing on October 9th. Emerson also talked about a delay in key titles (Bioshock Infinite perhaps?) which has meant projections were down, although online distribution sales were up and accounted for 13% of the company’s revenue for the period.
Sadly, GTA V was mentioned (Rockstar releasing screenshots and development is coming along), but of the key games talked about, it was the only one where a release date was not attached which suggests the game is likely not coming out this side of March 31st 2013 when the financial year ends. Some have speculated a May 2013 release period which is more likely.
Take 2 plan to have a stream of the meeting available later today.

Game Informer is out and GTAV.net (http://www.gtav.net/news/4473/game-informer-gtav-preview-now-available) has a summary of the info it contains.(The first post in this link has 20 new images http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?act=ST&f=267&t=531419.
There are 3 playable main characters. Their names are Trevor, Franklin and Michael.
You can switch between them at any point when not on a mission. When you switch, the camera zooms out into the sky and then back down to the character you switched to.
You can switch to another playable character during missions where they work together. This happens instantly.
Some missions will only have one of the main characters, whereas in other missions it may be two or all three together.
Each one has its own personality, motivations and skillset. When you're not controlling them, their lifes continue and you may be surprised to see what situations they find themselves in when you switch back.
Each character has his own story arc.
Of the main storyline missions, there'll be several complex missions focussed on heists in style of "Three Leaf Clover" from GTAIV.
Some characters from GTAIV will make an appearance in V. Niko won't be one of them.
During research, Rockstar took over a quarter million photos this time!
Census information and vehicle sales data were used as a guide to depict the game world.
Big advances in the game's lighting model with vast increases and advances in draw distance and levels of detail.
Spoiler: More Info(click to see content)
Features:
You can flip off other characters in the game, and see interesting results dependent on who you're flipping off.
Vehicle physics have been updated. "The cars hold to the ground a bit better". It now feels more like a racing game, compared to GTA IV where they felt "big and boatlike".
After a hiatus in GTAIV, Ammu-Nation is back!
A lot of new side activities, including yoga, jet sking, base-jumping, tennis and golfing on a full golf course!
Rockstar felt that dating wouldn't fit in this game and have stripped this feature.
Mobile phone will return, but friends won't be calling as often as they did in GTAIV. It will be more streamlined and used for things like emails and Internet browsing.
Random character encounters throughout the map, much akin to those in GTAIV - but this time there's a greater variety and they're fully motion captured.
Dynamic missions, similar to Red Dead's "Unique World Events" make a return. Examples include characters with broken down cars, a hitch hiker, or two parked cars with dead bodies around them - which you can investigate to initiate dynamic missions.
Dynamic "state machines" were coded in the game, allowing non-playable characters to go about their daily lifes. For example, you may see gardeners and cleaners waiting at the bus stop in the morning, and then find them tending the gardens and houses in the game's fictional Beverly Hills later on in the day.

GTAV's game world is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas and GTA IV combined!

Trevor
Former military pilot Lives in a trailer in Blaine County (desert). Used to work a few bank jobs with Michael back in the day

I'm just happy to hear that there are defensive customization options for vehicles ( short of weapon storage) and more importantly and improved vehicle saving system. Now I don't have to go around driving rare cars like teacups and parking them at the first safehouse to swap it for a clunker. The improvements to movement and gunplay look alright too.

Information Summary of previews via GTAV.NET said:
Features: Players can invest in their character through customizing their appearance, improving their stats, owning customized vehicles, purchasing personal property, choosing their favourite weapons and vehicles and taking part in missions, jobs and activities. Players have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes. As progress is achieved through the world of GTA Online, players will be introduced to new characters, missions, rewards and such. A maximum of 16 players can be active at any one time as part of an online universe of hundreds of thousands competing to earn Reputation Points (RP), money and almost limitless material acquisition. As you speak into your headset, your GTA Online character will lip-sync broadly in time. When robbing a liquor store, AI characters will react to the urgency in your voice, stuffing money more quickly in the bag. The Content Creator will allow players to create and share their own missions and activities via the Social Club cloud. Other players can beat your target times and scores, then rate your mission. You can even choose which creators you want to follow and curate your favourite missions. The Feed, a twitter-like program, appears on screen to relay all your emails, texts and messages from Social Club. The world of Grand Theft Auto Online will constantly grow and change as new content is added, and at some stage GTA Online will head into new locations. Access to Grand Theft Auto Online is free with every retail copy of Grand Theft Auto V and launches on October 1st.
General: Your ranking will be based off of shooting, driving, parachuting and flying skills. People can access their data through Social Club and via their iPhones or iPads. There is a mode called "passive mode" which means you can't shoot people and they can't shoot you. A "Bad Sport" stat will be given for bad behaviour such as blowing up another player's car, and if it's done persistently you will be punished. if your multiplayer character at Max Payne 3 had a high level, it will be carried over to GTA: Online for more bonuses that you will unlock. Matchmaking is based off of ranking, so it prioritizes your friends' rankings, crewmembers' rankings and even strangers so that when you need people, you know who to get. GTA Online tracks who your rivals are and lets you know when they've come online so you can get some revenge on them.
Multiplayer: You can assemble a team from your friends list, or recruit according to specialist skills. As you rob a liquor store or perform a heist, the team member that does the job gets the cash and can choose how much to share. It's possible to spread the wealth by sharing cash, weapons and ammo among your team. In turn, they can 'defect' and try to steal your cash. You can pick up your phone to 'ring' friends in single player and invite them into your world. Your friends will be listed under 'Contacts' on your phone. Set up challenges and post it to the Social Club and players can try and beat your score, if they beat your score -- you give them cash.
Miscellaneous: You start GTA: Online arriving to Los Santos pennyless and you must complete a few missions first to get a feel of the online. There will be loads of property to buy at different prices, according to their views and location. You can use your in-house CCTV to spy on people at your front door, or take showers, surf the net, change clothes and watch the game's many TV channels. You can take out insurance and ring for a replacement car if yours gets destroyed. You can pay a personal mechanic to fix your cars automatically, or deliver them to any location. You can also check any vehicle's stats for speed, handling etc, before making your choice to purchase. You can watch real-time events such as police chases on your TV moments after you see them speed past your house. Your custom cars show as markers on the map and get impounded if you leave them too long. You can pay to retrieve them. You will be able to deposit your money into your bank account as often as you can. When another player kills you, they can snatch the wallet right from your dead body. You can switch between single player and online mode by selecting your multiplayer avatar from the character wheel. If you're fleeing from another player, you can call up a buddy to hide your radar blip. Passengers will be able to change the in-car radio. You will have contacts available at anytime that will provide different services on or off mission, as you rank higher you will have access to characters with new and stronger abilities. Examples of such are being hidden from the radar and setting a bounty on another player if you're being chased. If you steal a vehicle, you can spray and change the plates. Some vehicle customisation businesses might not be willing to do that and you may get a wanted level. Weasel News will pick up people that have got wanted levels. There is a planning room in people's apartments. If you are in a heist and need some help, you can invite your friends and they will be teleported to you instantly. The experience is seamless between transitions for free-roam and missions. You can call up a private security firm to bring in an airstrike, i.e. destroy street races.

I just read IGN's review, and hot damn!! This looks incredible. I remember the sense of scale that you feel for the first time you played each title. Hell, 3 still sticks out in my mind... I remember escaping that crashed amoured truck with 8-Ball for the first time as if it was yesterday. And "Car Surfing" never gets old... too bad that isn't a possibility anymore!! :grrr: Walking around my block in GTA 4 for the first time also sticks out in my mind too.
GTA 5 looks crazy good. But I won't be getting it immediately. I'm also curious to see what people have to say about this one when it hits tonight at midnight!!

I have one major gripe and that is the wanted levels. I'm gonna check just to make sure, but back in the older GTA's, even 4, you could at least run down a few guys, fire off a few bullets and never see 1 star. Now, even while walking up the steps to a mission, I gently bump a guy and i got 2 stars, they're shooting me point blank and I can't help but scream "FUCK" because I was damn near dead going into it. Hell, i can't even defend myself in a fist fight without having to deal with a 1 star and it takes like 2 minutes for them to disspear. Rockstar needs to tweak that shit in a patch because it isn't fun and shows that no matter what they add back still won't match the fun and ideas the Saints guys bring to the table in just 4 games.

"As one might expect after its launch day figure of $800 million, Grand Theft Auto 5 has hit $1 billion in sales in just its first three days on the market, Take-Two has announced. This breaks yet another record, as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 took 15 days to reach the same mark.
Take-Two also notes that it reached the sales figure faster than feature films, as the record is currently held by The Avengers after 10 days. But to be fair, games tend to cost five or six times the amount as a movie ticket.
"Grand Theft Auto is a cultural phenomenon and Rockstar Games continues to redefine what can be achieved in interactive entertainment," said Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in the announcement. "We are incredibly proud of the extraordinary critical and commercial response to Grand Theft Auto 5.""

You do know that witnesses actually call the cops right?
Anyone seeing you fight may pull out a cell phone and snitch on you. That's why you fight and then leave the scene fast.
I found one of these types of people and watched her threaten to call the police on me. She took out her cell phone and spoke to the cops. I ran her over as soon as the conversation started and the cops didn't show up.
Oh and hide in alleys, parking garages, or even get on roofs to make the cops go away easily.

^ I tried it 3 times just now. The first 2 times the cops were driving past me, but eventually spotted me. On my 3rd try they didn't see me at all. Doesn't really seem like a reliable escape plan, but it's good to know that's there.

Maybe, I watched the video just to be certain but the bushes cover just enough to make it hard to tell if hes sorta hunched over in that stealth position. Maybe a bit of both, as well as how thick the foliage needs to be? It is Rockstar who go by even the craziest of details. Like:

I'm disappointed that assets take so long to make back their investment. Doesn't seem like its worth it unless you want to do all the menial tasks, but then again I'm probably that kind of guy. I think I did the weapon trafficking missions over two dozen times before I realized they were randomly generated ( not that they weren't fun however).

We're talking about a game here, aren't we? :P
When it takes up close to two in-game years to make any of it back,it sucks. Not like it matters though since it you most of your money comes from the robberies anyway. I'm probably better off trying to manipulating the stock market.
I'm not very far in at this point. I've only done the first heist and just now setting up the second one. Most of my time has been spent driving like a madman through Blaine County to reveal the entire map because off-roading is satisfying for me as well. I wish the suspension worked a bit closer to how it did in 4 ,but there's no use in crying about that now.

You're not that far in like you just said.
Also, in San Andreas and plenty of other GTA's you'll notice how you get paid quite nice in the missions, even in missions that don't sense to get paid for, and yet the character you're using still complains about not having enough money to pay for things, lol. An example being how much money CJ had to make before busting sweet out of jail in SA when you accumulated millions up to that point.
Just finish the game before you decide if it sucks or not.

Been on a day, level 13 going on 14. I hate the starting missions and how they have mainly PVP ones set as them and within moments people drop out thinking it was something else. Nice to see actual cutscenes and even if it takes some time I can't wait to see other GTA4/5 faces show up overtime. I just hope tomorrow ain't the day I lose my character. Might just wait out the 360 patch and hope that comes apart it as a fix.

It says it fixes more things, add offline save support or something that makes it less likely to eat your character, cars and money. Stimulus is next week, but dont hold your breath. Not like 250k is jack squat in that money hungry game, especially as they continue to nerf the fun missions and never raise the payouts for shitty ones. there literally is no risk or reward in this game. There is nothing, until heist come out and baring them being terrible theres jack all to do.

well for what it is (an obvious beta) i think it does its job and it does have a few things the main game doesnt like the quick gps
and some of the missions when did with friends or cool people that arent griefers with small penises are actually pretty fun
and then theres deathmatch of course, races, etc
theres a lot, but alot of things factor into your experience, which is why you can start a solo session (no griefers minus the perks of multiplayer stuff) or a friend only session (no griefers with multiplayer and friends)
that said i can not wait until the heists start holy shit

God i hate sounding so cynical lately, im sorry, i need to fucking stop that. Its ruining muh video games. :(
Its great when you get alot of people, that is true, and now our current regulars gets up to 6. Which might dip due to Cod, but sadly it seems like it takes forever to get the fun missions and even with the pay decrease all around, that Titan mission is great. Just long enough, plenty of people to fight and fits 6 people. I hope sooner, not later, that they add back replays for any mission. No reason NOT to have it now.

Having higher rank than others doesnt make you any better, a 40 rank player can probably beat the shit out of you if he got skill, you can have more weapons and shit but still anyone with lower rank can beat you and also considering how frequently head shots happen, that can kill you instantly even with a low range/low fire power pistol, so.... don't act too arrogant my friend

Because it's really cool to be a shithead and ruin people's fun, as if that isn't already prominent in GTA Online.
Which is precisely why I don't play it. If you're low level, you can't really get ANYWHERE.

Just because you think your good on PS3 doesn't mean you're that damn good in the game go play on PC and watch people demolish your ass in that game. You mad because I'm good at the game and terrorize noobs? Wow man, geez. Plus, why would I play a inferior XBOX when I'm PS? That makes no sense. I've never even touched BF4 on the inferior PS3 so moot point sir.
I don't see why people get so mad about being killed online GTAO. I paid $130, bought the damn game twice and paid my dues to get rank. No glitches or bullcrap except the sale car glitch to get rich. When glitchers and hackers bother me, I just go in the house and bounty them. There are ways to avoid it. People just get mad because we have the power to control the lobby and they don't. You don't wanna be killed over and over, play passive mode or play privately. Coming in a lobby with my crew and your rank low, or you're targeted, you will be killed repeatedly.
Nothing can be done to stop us neither so low rankers and targets need to deal with it or play solo.

Yea, it's the best way to take out vehicles, but that's about what it has going for it. Every other gun does a better job killing actual people.
That's not a valid argument for the minigun being a bad weapon. That's like saying a chainsaw is a bad tool because you're trying to use it to cut a sheet of paper.

Dayumn...4.5 million left?? I remember when i was in the millionaire club :disappointed: lol I got my mills taken from me when they started cracking down on the money haha BUT i still have all my expensive rides and items and upgrades >:)
What me and a couple friends used to do during the "era of the Super High bounties" we used to stir up havok in the room killing people and then get hit with a bounty and then let of the crew get the kill for cash lol worked for a while until that shit stopped =(
I did the car glitch more than anything. When I did get hit with that 500mil, I didn't bank it. I walked around with it in my pocket. When the hammer came down and they took all the money, I still had the 18 million for car selling left. I blew most of it over time switching apartments, fixing up cars for random people being nice (noobs), guns, etc.
I would enter a lobby and as a nice gesture, build a high powered car for a level 1 guy to atleast make it easier getting away.

That's not a valid argument for the minigun being a bad weapon. That's like saying a chainsaw is a bad tool because you're trying to use it to cut a sheet of paper.
It destroys choppers far more reliably due to it's power and questionably great accuracy than lobbing a nade launcher grenade or RPG. For the same reason it'll quickly take care of any ground non-armored vehicles. And obviously any person in front of a minigun will die quicker than it can even think of blinking.
Outside of choppers, it's a bad weapon because:
- If you're playing with lock on, you'll quickly notice that minigun does not lock at all. - When you have it out, you won't be able to run or move quickly in any way. No combat rolls or taking cover either. You need to put away the mini-gun if you need to move quickly(which also takes time). - Since you're effectively a sitting duck, you'll have to take care when spinning up the minigun which can be enough time to get you killed if not have a few potshots taken at you. - For anything with flesh, the minigun is overkill and unneeded. The rifles or Machine guns do the work just as effectively and being able to lock on with them lets you switch targets quickly. Considering that nearly every human enemy has a gun in this game, being able to take cover is also a nice perk to have. - If you need to take down a ground vehicle, an RPG will do the job faster and still have the mobility options. If it ain't moving much or you're waiting for it to park nearby, a grenade will do the job as well.
Basically, the minigun is a bad weapon because it removes you of your mobility, something which you'll find to be very crucial. It's a situational weapon at best. Use it to swat off police choppers and maybe a few police cars, but your other weapons do the job as well, if not better than the minigun for everything else.

My buddy has been talking mad trash about me on GTAV. He's rank 60 and kept calling me out until I quit playing Destiny and went head to head with him and 1 of his friends. I completely trolled them the whole time. Killed his friend 16-2 mostly with heavy sniper. Killed his other buddy 3-0 before he left. I killed him (likeTHATkid rank 60) 35-2. I owned him so bad that he claimed I was in GOD mode LOL. These were not noobs I might add, the levels were 83, 138, and 60 respectively lol.

Your "funny moment" was you making yourself look good again. Particularly annoying after you pull that Imma crush all them noobs at GTA trolling stunt.
Really, how do you expect us to respond after you pull that trolling gimmick and then continue to cement it by posting something about how awesome you were at making your friend's trolling backfire?
