Why is Haggar a midboss? Did you mean Rolento?
Also if anything Wesker should be a boss instead of the FF character because OURBOROUS.

Why is Haggar a midboss?
I too dont really understand why the hell Haggar would be a boss char.
Maybe some characters from more recent releases? Seth's sprites dont need much edits (as they are already done) and we could use good one.

Wesker is a boss, my bad. Haggar and Megaman have been floated as midbosses cause I didnt like having 3 bosses and I was hoping to bump someone up.

Im not really sure on what to do with Mr.X at this point. I'll have to look through him again and see what I can do for a moveset and stuff.

Another thing, the characters with non cvs sprites are scaled in game. So the Alex, Cody, Karin, etc sprites arent that wide in the actual game.

About the midboss/boss thing. Imo, the characters that represent the biggest chunks of the roster(SF, DS, FF, etc) should all at least have some form of boss representation.

For Final Fight, I had: Hugo, Haggar, and Rolento as potential boss type candidates. I dropped Hugo from the roster so that left Haggar and Rolento. I think everyone I asked pretty much said go with Haggar. I can run a Haggar vs Rolento poll I guess.

Megaman is a mascot character and as such, I thought he kinda deserved a spot. He doesnt look nearly as boss-ish as say Wesker or Akuma, but I was ok with ignoring that. I can add his name to that poll too.

The game has a generic story that involves Ingrid and that's why she and S.Akuma share the final boss group. She would have been mid otherwise.

Lack of sprites is what kinda set the roster. There are a lot of characters Id like to add if there were sprites(Krauser or Ada/Juri/Seth/Poison/etc)

Im going back to the split roster. Originally, there was a main roster and an expansion/dlc roster. They gradually merged over time and now the roster is getting impossibly large. The slashed roster is 28-30 characters(assuming the CFAS characters):
Expansion:
-Adon
-Claw possibly
-Dudley
-Makoto(is dropped so Chun-Li can move to SF3). Chun-Li's replacement will either be Claw or an expansion character.
-Rose
-Q(Might stay anyway)
-Jedah
-Bishamon/Bulleta
-Leo
-Megaman(waiting on something)
-Rolento(possibly)
-8-10 characters that were going to be hidden and werent announced. The ???? Characters.

Sorry. The project is much more likely to get done with the smaller roster. I dont have as much time as before and I only managed 14ish characters in 9 months(slow). Im lazy, sorry guys.

Alex would be a great base if someone were to sprite Krauser....

We've got a lot of RE in the roster/potential for RE in the roster. Jill is in for sure. Leon is likely. Chris and Claire are possible with Chris being more likely.

Done. Just in testing and AI stuff. His AI kicks almost everyone's ass. Except Ingrid, Sagat, and Ken.

Im cutting the roster further. The roster loses Eagle, ???, T.Hawk, Yang, and Cammy. The non SF side stays about the same.

I was looking forward to a lot of the characters that were cut. Any chance we'll be seeing them as DLC?

Probably. I planned on making a T.Hawk anyway. Cammy was already made, just needed the patch. Eagle was an easy enough port. And I have a really good Yang base(though Im not sure how easy of a port he would be. I was still torn between his AE normals or cvs2 ish ones(basically using Yun's data, but with AE filling in the holes). Both are link heavy so it would basically be a question of rapid fire or links for his lights(s.lp, c.lp, c.lk). Yang and Ken are two of my favorite characters(though I suck with Yang)
