Most won't get why but its done! 24 frames of fun guaranteed to make your Demitri standout from the pack! Frame number is just doubled from the original animation so it should run at the same amount of ticks has normal but look way smoother. I'm sure it will be hard to see all the work I actually put into this... Enjoy

RobotMonkeyHead: The timing is all kinds of messed up, don't pay too much attention to it. I just winged it. But yes that is the frame where the move connects. With a longer delay on hit, or no delay at all on whiff, it'll look fine.I'm sure it will. Your skill is very apparent ;)

I hate to be that guy but ryu's "sfex" kick is wrong. It's supposed to end with an air axe kick animation. It resembles sean's tatsu from sf3 if anything lol
The physics for hair and cloth in SF4 is really weird and makes everything look floaty, like it's underwater.
Almost done. Braids need to be redrawn and there'll probably a few small tweaks here and there, but that's about it.

A normal Hadouken windup like Ryu's and Ken's. In the finished game he does his trademark bowlegged-stance, then goes straight to the outstretched arm pose. These would later be used in X-Men: Children of the Atom.
An extra frame intended for the beginning of his far standing hard kick.

I'm trying to update the first post in the thread but I keep getting database errors... maybe I've exceeded the character limit? Dunno...I don't think so, the Optional Animation thread has more than twice the amount of characters and I've had no problem with it.

I love SF3 sprites as much as the next guy, but recoloring them was pretty weird. There were some really funky color inconsistencies in some sprites. I don't know if it's the actual sprites, or just the ones that were ripped that had some palette issues/inconsistensies (they're from the sprite pack from Zweifuss). Regarding those Sean sprites:Nope I only have a gif for that heavy kick, the rest aren't custom (they're all either from Ryu/Ken/Akuma in some way).
Do you have separate gifs of each of those moves? Some of them seem official and some seem custom.... I can't put them all in one section.
Regarding those Kensprites:The roundhouse is obviously just a headswap from Ryu's roundhouse, and the axe kick are existing sprites,
Are both of Ken's moves from other existing games and not present in any form in the SF3 sheets? I'm asking because the way I have things organized now indicates that variations in animation for moves that, in a way, ARE already present in the sheet already go to the "IMPROVEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING ANIMATIONS" section (a good example is your SF3-styled Tatsumaki... techincally, it's in the sheet already).

Um... this thread is mostly for people that want to add additional animations to current spritesheets, which is a lot less work than creating a whole new sheet, but which can still lead to cool stuff getting done.This Scott comes from the beat 'em all game, and as Basara points out in the topic, the artist for the game is Paul Robertson, and the game's sprites are available on his blog as well as sprite resource sites. So Basara's sprites are new sprites (a good number of sprites too) to be added to the original game's sprites, so it fits this thread well. (... well I think there are a few he redrew from the original ones, that's what he was doing when he started, but IINM those ones are new stuff he did on top of the original ones)
In your case, you did the latter, so... it's frickin' awesome :D... but I guess it doesn't specifically fit this thread? :P
NEW CUSTOM MOVES: This section is for any custom move that a specific character never performed in any other game in which they were featured.
- Examples of stuff that's valid for this section:
1. A "Spinning bird kick" move for Dan (Even though the "Spinning Bird Kick" in itself is an Official move, Dan himself never performed it).
2. Anything else never performed by that character in any game in any similar fashion.

Now, aside from some jumpy shading on the pants, I don't think there was anything necessarily wrong with CVSNB's stance. Buckus just wanted one that more closely mimicked the flow and motion of the SF3 stance.

SFA3 Stance for CVS Ken. Still need fixes(jumpy right arm, some shading issues especially on chest area in one frame, missing dot shade in gloves), but I think it came out decent enough to share. SF Duo Ken will use this stance. It transitions well with existing sprites. 6 frames total.

@Jmorphman: ^Late for this; but have you considered using this for your Guile? I think this would look closer to the finishing somersault for Opening Gambit from SFEX as opposed to the normal one you're currently using.I haven't seen it till now! But no I wouldn't use it for Opening Gambit cause mine is based on SFxT (and not dumb SFEX). I might use it for the level 2 version of Somersault Strike, though.

1. Evidence that you're actually working on a character and have made significant progress. This evidence can be a beta version, a youtube video, or an outstanding reputation for completing projects.
2. A clear description of the animations you need and how these will contribute to the completion of the character (except where obvious).
