Title: Spritesheet Expansion Thread

The purpose of this thread is to compile new official/custom animations created by our forum artists that can be used to expand upon existing spritesheets.

Instead of creating entirely new sprite sheets from scratch, which is an extremely laborious thing, we can breathe new life into existing sheets by just adding, let's say, one or two more animations, which is a lot less work. (Don't get me wrong, I love full original sheets just as much as the next guy, but we can't expect those to pop-up that often).

For example: The only reason you couldn't make an MVC3 Shuma Gorath using the available 2D sprites is because there were no sprites for his "Hyper Mystic Ray" super move. Now there are, so a whole new version of the character can be made with significantly less work that it would take to sprite an entirely original character from scratch.

Please include the following information when submitting your animation:

- Type and name of the animation being submitted (see the four different submission sections below).
- Which spritesheet the move was created for (Example: SFA, SF3, MVC, CVS, etc... sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's hard to tell... sometimes I may not even know what game the character's from).
- Who the creator is (if it's not you).

NOTE: Please submit an animated gif whenever possible. Submitting each frame individually as a sheet takes up a lot of space in the page. If you can't do it, that's fine, but keep in mind that if the image is too big, I'll be forced to put it inside a spoiler. :P

IMPROVEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING ANIMATIONS: More frames for smoother animation, graphical fixes, alternate versions of moves that already exist in the spritesheet, etc...

Also, Dcat is a very good example of how to expand upon existing characters and their sprite sheets.

I thought so too, but then I saw that the Midnight Bliss/Shock project (the closest thing I could find) was also in the Projects thread. If someone wants to move it, feel free (or tell me how to do it, if I'm able to :P)

I tried that once on my forum. But it didn't take off.

I'm actually in the works of trying something else for this. I thought of it while trying to figure out the best way to update the shared resources sticky. I'm actually basing it in MFFA because they have more members that I think would be willing to keep something like that active.

My idea was to attempt to get feedback on the pros and cons of sprite packs. Try to get the best from them and start adding edits and/or color separation if applicable.

An example of pros and cons of a sprite pack would be Demitri rips from me and from Kong. Kong did a better job than I did for the most part. I noticed in Morrigan and Ryu I missed a few frames so I don't trust my own rips from back then. However he doesn't do anything at all if something goes off screen. Like Demitri in his cursed bat form. He's got his wings cut off at the bottom of the screen where I moved the character to prevent that if needed. So my bats need to be in Kong's pack and I should add an axis readme. After that edits can be added to the pack as they are presented.

This is a great idea. I redo a lot of animations just to make them more smooth or more interesting. They could probably fit here.

I created some Metsu Shoryuken sprites back in the day, which I intend to upgrade at one point (the sprites are really old and ugly).
I also did some lineart work of the Hyper Mystic Ray for Cyanide's Shuma Gorath.

It would be best to have an area on Guild where we could add attachments and just add to different packs like that.

Well, for now I was hoping this would be it. :D

I think this is an awesome idea. I like doing pixel art but I'm often busy with all kinds of other stuff, so even if I'd want to do more stuff (which is kind of rare in the first place), an animation for like a special move or two seems to be all I can muster before I either lose interest, become preoccupied with something else, or both.

I'd be happy to contribute, at least something relatively simple like something new for an SFZ/MVC character, but frankly I'd have no idea where to begin. I'm not sure if requests would be the best way to go (although I think it's one option), but maybe someone could start compiling some sort of reference list for what kinds of animations for what characters would be appropriate? IE moves characters have gained in later games, like you mention, but maybe also stuff like running/chip/parry/etc animations that some but not all SFZ characters had in CVS2, or whatever. Maybe some sort of combination of both, a reference list for clueless people like me, with kind of an open invitation for people to suggest or request what they'd like to be able to use in their particular projects.

Whether it becomes more of an organized project or not I think it's at least a good idea to have a thread here to collect whatever sprites people do produce.

Judas: I posted some examples throughout the thread that you're welcome to try. These are the general ideas:

- New moves introduced in UMvC3 that weren't in MvC1/2, which require a new animation.
- SF4 moves for SF3 sprites (I say SF3 sprites because these tend to be the most common bases for 2D SF4 characters. Of course, if you want to use Alpha sprites or SF2 sprites, I don't see a problem with that).

Diepod and FeLo_Llop: Yeah, that's exactly what I was referring to! :)

Essentially, anything that can be done to bring new life to an old sheet that doesn't require spriting an entire sheet from scratch is more than welcome!

I guess it will fit here... I am finishing a redo of Demitri's stance animation same DS style and everything. Its really the same animation, I am just making it way smoother. 24 frames vs it original 12 frames. I will post it as soon as I finish it up, Im sure someone will enjoy it. I might do more DS animation like this depending on the responses to Demitri's stance.

I also plan on redoing SF3 Yun and Yangs stances too since they look stiff and poorly done.

Glad this thread exists. Need a good way to lump everything together so everything will be easy to find. Maybe you can just lump everything together in your first post... once they start coming in....

I just captured a bunch of video/pics of Cammy in AE to use for reference for new sprites... she's my favourite character so I figured why the hell not. Will probably primarily focus on normal attacks and stuff that's plain missing in older versions, but I could see myself making sprites for some animations that look different in SF4 like her crouch or dashes or whatever.

I'm planning on doing the sprites in typical SFZ style in her Shadaloo outfit essentially for compatibility's sake, but if there's an edited set of sprites of her in the Delta Red outfit that I'm not aware of (or if it'd be requested for other reasons) I guess I could do Delta Red versions too.

WOW!! I never realized it was that different. Turns out his CFE sprites are the ones I have already started working on. DS sprites look awesome playing through super smooth, I think you will like.

I see a lot of the regulars in that CFJ Rips List. Did they do something else to the sprites?

Urien's color count was reduced and cleaned into a more reasonable and manageable number ... but what about Rose/Sakura/Ryu/Akuma

Zangief was scaled down to CVS resolution and his head was redrawn. He also got a new kind of bizarre idle stance.
As noted Guy has a new idle stance as well, but AFAIK his sprites are still in CPS resolution.

Judging from the previews on that page Sakura and Guile seem to have some kind of double resolution deal going on (like Dan in CVS), but I have no idea why, or what (if anything) was added. It's possible that it was done only to accommodate for entirely new sprites added (Midnight Bliss etc) with no actual changes to the existing sprites outside of rescaling them, but I'm not sure.


edit: Yeah, upon closer inspection I'm pretty sure the latter is correct. Guile and Sakura's MB sprites are drawn in CVS resolution for some reason, so those sprites are stored in 2x width, while the old sprites are like 1.75x wide, so all sprites can be scaled by the same factor and still look consistent. That doesn't of course rule out that they didn't have subtle changes made to them as well, but there's nothing I'm aware of.

Most won't get why but its done! 24 frames of fun guaranteed to make your Demitri standout from the pack! Frame number is just doubled from the original animation so it should run at the same amount of ticks has normal but look way smoother. I'm sure it will be hard to see all the work I actually put into this... Enjoy

Pyron got a slight tweak to his idle stance. A second stream of energy can be seen spewing from his upper body in a different color.


Also, is there anywhere that I can find CFJ common effects like super sparks, hit sparks, guard break, etc.? The set that Infinity Mugen provides only has hit sparks.

I'm going to send this to AOKmaniac as well and see if he'll mind updating his rips on his site with this.
This is his CFE rips. I added your standing animation with axis, I added the missing midnight bliss from Vampire Savior, and I corrected the messed up colors/sprites that was here and there in the pack. I added new info to the readme and axis. I also flipped all of Demitri's sprites that AOK had ripped since they were facing player 1.

I think this should be the most complete and accurate Demitri pack there is right now. I would like it if someone would take a look and see if anything else from the DS series was missing from CFE besides the Midnight Bliss

I have compiled just about everything in the first post. If you guys can, I would recommend sticking with gif files of individual animations, so we don't fill up the first post too much (also, so I don't end up with an image of frames that fall into different categories).

Here's Akuma's SFA stance with CVS sprites. I took the ones already available(forgot who made them), lowered the sprite count, and fixed the hair and belt. Still needs work, but I figured someone could use these. Of course, it was used for POTS Shin Gouki.

Most won't get why but its done! 24 frames of fun guaranteed to make your Demitri standout from the pack! Frame number is just doubled from the original animation so it should run at the same amount of ticks has normal but look way smoother. I'm sure it will be hard to see all the work I actually put into this... Enjoy

Finally got around to starting on some Cammy sprites. Got the Focus Attack animation blocked out:

Jigsaw, that animation looks great! I would keep all the frames, this is the expansion thread anyways. People can always cut out frames if they want it to feel/look different. Really nice work so far.

^ yes the obvious cleanup, but motion looks super fluid, save for one point right before her attacking foot lands on the ground. Maybe just a bit many tics? Is that where the hitstun is supposed to land?

I made it by drawing over screenshots from SFIV, with some frankenspriting and other original stuff, so yeah it's pretty accurate.

Man, that downward smash from Balrog looks grizzly as hell.  Very nice.  Are those two attacks your original sprites?

Yep, I drew them for Kamekaze over a year ago.

Thanks to you, those who have always wanted to make a SF4 Cammy are one step closer to being able to achieve that dream! And we'll all reap the benefits of it!

EDIT: One suggestion... towards the end of the animation, the ponytail seems a bit floaty trying to get back into the stance-position (behind her back). Maybe have it whip directly towards her back after the kick?

To be fair, maybe it's not supposed to be an EX-Styled Tatsumaki... I just assumed it was, based on the resemblance... for all I know it's just another custom version of no specific origin.

I just have this really annoying tendency to vastly underestimate the amount of work that goes into something. :P As for the braids, yeah, that's what I was alluding to before. The physics for hair and cloth in SF4 is really weird and makes everything look floaty, like it's underwater. I haven't touched the hair yet but I'll likely more or less redraw it completely from scratch, her hair seems to be quite a bit shorter in the SFZ sprites anyway.

Head and hands/gloves are done, boots at probably 75% or so. After that it's mostly boring tedium of cleaning up lines and anti-aliasing. Learned a few things that should make whatever I make next a little simpler though (not doing a 20+ frame animation might be a good start, lol).

I could probably help with that. Felo is the real expert when it comes to CVS Chun-Li so I will happily leave that to him (if he wants to do it of course), but I can make Ryu's and/or Ken's. The Cammy focus attack animation kind of wore me out a bit though, hah, so I think I want to do something simpler in between.

Zangief's SFEX super looks simple enough, so I can probably do that next.

Well, a while back when the SFA4 project was going strong I took JNP's edit and resized it correctly to SFA standards.

It is not finished but there's not much work left to it if someone wants to give it a go...last 3 frames mainly.

No, It's during gameplay and everything.

Been sitting on this for a little while. I wanted to clean some small things but haven't found the time. A smoother Classic Demitri.

I think I saw it... it seems the original have some really weird dark boxes appearing in Q´s right sleeve and right side of hat (darkest areas) in the last two frames. If isn´t that then I don´t know.

Look at the left animation for a few seconds, especially his upper body (hat, face, torso, front arm) : you'll see a sort of shadow passing over Q for a frame or two, as if he was getting hidden from the sun or something.
Now look at the right animation : this shadow thing has disappeared (save for the face, but that may be on purpose).

Do I get a cookie (if I'm even right) ? :P

Just wanted to mention that despite saying I'd attempt to make sprites for Zangief's SFEX super, it turned out to be much more work than I thought, so don't hold your breath waiting for that one. Not that I think anyone was, but whatever.

If yes, I can tell you, JmorphMan made a frankensprite that is actually good for a first attempt (though JmoprhMan doesn't think so).
Frankensprites after that (such as Guile's SFEX Opening Gambit) are good, too.

That was by Balthazar. 99% of the sprite edits in my characters are not by me, because I can't sprite.

Never limit yourself. I can't sprite either, but I always put my best foot forward. Just do some tracing, study shadings, observe animations, ect. Whatever you need to get you started :)

I specifically did not add that one to the index because it is unusable in its current state. I have no problem with unfinished stuff being in the thread itself (especially if the author abandoned it and someone else wanted to finish it) but I feel like stuff in the first post should be limited to items that are complete (In retrospect, I shouldn't have added my unfinished Shuma Gorath before Cyanide was done shading it, so to those of you who felt unfairly left out, I apologize... it was the only example I had at the time of what I meant by "expansion"... I have now replaced it with the finished animation :)).

most were found. some were made by me. all were edited. none of them were indexed. they were all rgb pngs so the colors were all over the place. im merely indexing them properly. and yes i will be indexing all the sprites i find. just takes alot of time as its basically redrawing over jpg image.

You don't have to align them if you can't. Ideally it'd be better to upload them as gif files, mostly because they save space on the page. It doesn't really matter, though... I've started "sub-spoilering" the really big stuff so it's easier to look through the catalog.

But yeah man, you should concider including the idle poses in your animations, it'll be more relaxing to look at and gives you a better look at the move in action. Having it constantly loop with no delay like this is stressful to look at and makes it hard to appreciate the work behind the actual animation itself.

And even though your R.Mika animations are very well done, they always leave a franken-sprite impression on me simply because you seem to use the same head/face in most of those animations you did. Spriting a new head (for the 'Wham!' poses) will surely make them better/fresher imo.

By including the idle pose he means that the char/s should stand (crouched or in air) for a bit longer time, showing their pose, then, looping, the attack will repeat. (I'm stating the obvious, shoot at me. :| )

Those are some nice additional frames for Mika, Diepod! I don't see that you frankensprited her face on your sprites (I'm checking the source).

Yeah, I figured the lunge was intentional. I almost did more in-betweens, but the one seemed like enough. The lack of any kind of blur effect made the original seem too jumpy to me. Even for a bark, that is. Maybe.

Yeah, I noticed that a few minutes later when I looked at her GBA fullsheet (couldn't find a regular one that didn't need to be downloaded), but again... I haven't been able to update the initial post since...

I mean, if I were to edit the first post so that it had the explanation of what the thread is for, then create three posts with one section each, would a moderator be able to move those to the first page, so they show up consecutively (despite their posted date)?

Furthermore, I'm not the creator of most of the animations submitted. I also do not know how to shade in CVS-style, so no... I can't help you.

Do you guys think a request section would be too much for this thread?

As in... people can ask for those one or two (at most) remaining animations that will help them make their character complete-able. Most people usually do this in their own project threads, but maybe doing that here would give it even more visibility.

Of course, they shouldn't ask for a ridiculous amount of work, and should clearly demonstrate all the work that has already gone into the character so that whoever volunteers to do it knows that the time invested will be worth it (i.e. finish most of the character first before asking for this animation. Don't say you'll start after it gets done). Also, the animation must be open for anyone to use, since that's the point of this thread.

What do you think?

I'm not talking about commissions, though. People can already pay for stuff even if it won't lead to anything getting created. I'm talking about a place where people who are 90-99% done with their characters can ask for that one remaining animation they need to finish their characters.

I'm talking about a place where people can show their good will by saying "Hey, here's my work... I'm almost done, but I just need this one thing to make it complete. I know I'm asking for something for free, but I have proof that this will go towards an amazing project".

It's all within the context of expanding existing sheets, though... like I mentioned earlier, this is not valid for requesting Original Spritesheet/Character work.

I agree that maybe having people make requests directly in this thread might be messy... we could maybe agree that people will PM me and I'll add it to a spoilered request section in the first page. And then once someone submits that work, I remove it from the request list and add the sprite to the corresponding section?

CVS, keep in mind that any animations for moves that ALREADY exist in the sheet (even if in a slightly different fashion) will go in the "IMPROVEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING ANIMATIONS" section, not the "OFFICIAL MOVES" section.

I love SF3 sprites as much as the next guy, but recoloring them was pretty weird. There were some really funky color inconsistencies in some sprites. I don't know if it's the actual sprites, or just the ones that were ripped that had some palette issues/inconsistensies (they're from the sprite pack from Zweifuss). Also, there were some obvious quality inconsistensies on some animations as well (for example some animations for Ken that were added to Second Impact/Third Strike, had some pretty lackluster shading jobs compared to the rest of the sprites).

The second one with the roundhouse-into-axe kick, well that axe kick is official, so nothing's edited on those.
The 3rd one just has upscaled CvS sprites added to it to show how it'll look.

In SSF2 Turbo, Ken had all 3 of his special kick moves (qcf+K, qfd+K and hcf+K), and all three of them could be linked into his axe kick by holding down the kick button.

Then I realized you submitted both the Ken and Sean sprites and bunched up both questions together, but forgot to indicate which question was related to which submission. Let me try again:

Nope I only have a gif for that heavy kick, the rest aren't custom (they're all either from Ryu/Ken/Akuma in some way).

From the first page, the SF3-styled Intro/Taunt, Cannibal Corpse Startup, Tenshokyaku, and the SFA/Capcom Vs. Series-styled Kicking winpose animations are all animations that are totally new and aren't improvements or modifications to existing ones. And actually, if Ryu's SFEX style Tatsu goes in the first post, then I think the Real Bout Styled TNT Punch and MvC ground/air dash animations would also go in the first post. :P

I'll clarify this because I feel I haven't done a good enough job of explaining how I've organized these sections... (I wanted to keep the description of each section brief, but I ended up sacrificing clarity):

OFFICIAL MOVES: This section is only for developer-created moves that exist in a game in which that character is featured, but not in the sheet that the submitted animation belongs to, in which that same exact character is also featured.

     - Examples of stuff that's valid for this section:
          1. SF4-only moves for any 2D sheets (Focus Attacks, Ultras, etc...).
          2. MvC3-only moves for MvC1/2 characters (New Supers, moves, etc...).

     - Examples of stuff that's NOT valid for this section:
          1. Made-up moves that were never featured in any official games (Giving Cammy a unicorn-shaped fireball move, for example).
          2. Official moves given to a character that belonged to another character (For example, giving Adon a Tiger Shot move. Even though the "Tiger Shot" move in itself is an official, developer created move, Adon himself never performed it).
          3. Anything that applies to the "IMPROVEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING ANIMATIONS" section. See the description of that section to understand what this means.

NEW CUSTOM MOVES: This section is for any custom move that a specific character never performed in any other game in which they were featured.

     - Examples of stuff that's valid for this section:

          2. Anything else never performed by that character in any game in any similar fashion.

I would actually prefer to get rid of this section altogether... most of these sprites are hosted in places like http://tcrf.net/ already.

IMPROVEMENTS/MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING ANIMATIONS: Any moves that already exist in the sheet but have been slightly modified in one way or another will go in this thread. Even if the animation is very different, if the move itself is already present in a very close form in that sheet, it will go here and not the other threads.

     - Examples of stuff that's valid for this section:
          1. Any animation extracted directly from the sheet and given more frames.
          2. A SF3-styled "Spinning Bird Kick" for CvS Chun-Li. Why? Because the move already exists in that sheet. There's not enough of a difference between the SF3 version and the SF2 version to warrant an inescapable need for a SF3 version (I don't mean this in a negative way, just saying that whoever decides to use one of these would be doing so more out of an aesthetical preference rather than the fact that they're missing sprites for the move altogether).


That said, I've screwed up a lot of these and put things in the wrong place now that I've made some considerations. Originally I had planned this thread for the first section and nothing else... people later started submitting stuff that I hand't thought of and I was forced to think of a way to organize them.

An example would be the new Ryo stance by CVSNB... my first thought was "He HAS a stance... this is just an aesthetical preference."... but maybe the fact that hitboxes would have to be set differently makes it more significant... I dunno.

Trust me when I tell you that I'm not too happy with the way it's arranged right now... it's just the way I could come up with. If you guys have any suggestions for how to better organize these sections, I'm all ears :)

This Scott comes from the beat 'em all game, and as Basara points out in the topic, the artist for the game is Paul Robertson, and the game's sprites are available on his blog as well as sprite resource sites. So Basara's sprites are new sprites (a good number of sprites too) to be added to the original game's sprites, so it fits this thread well. (... well I think there are a few he redrew from the original ones, that's what he was doing when he started, but IINM those ones are new stuff he did on top of the original ones)

Actually the Tatsu I did for SFA3 Ryu that you put in the Custom Moves section (2nd post, first page); it's actually how Sean's Tatsu works in SF3. So it's not really custom. Or maybe I misunderstood the sorting method you're using, Graphicus  :gonk:

Could somebody please help me out? I need two additional sprites for now, the two featured below are starting frames when link puts his leg on a powder keg but I need more, namely one where leg is actually on the keg (third sprite show the general gist of the idea) and another which will indicate that keg was actually pushed with his feet.

The problem is this character is pretty much complete as of now, but this is an edit, just like most of my work  (SF3 Ibuki to CVS-ish style and extended Vyn's Rock Howard by in SNK spritestyle). So what am I supposed to show? Most of the moves are simillar to the original, game mechanics will be different, just like the one Rock and Ibuki has. Here. There fore no proof for now, but does this makes me a liar or what? I did contribute and I'm working on a new creation, just asking for a helping hand.

Now, aside from some jumpy shading on the pants, I don't think there was anything necessarily wrong with CVSNB's stance. Buckus just wanted one that more closely mimicked the flow and motion of the SF3 stance.

Long story short... I thought I would have the time to remake Ryo's CVS stance, a mix between both CVS and XIII. Judas (http://mugenguild.com/forum/profile/judas-546) beat me to it, did an amazing job making an alt XIII version.

I still wanted to make my version at this point so I chopped up Judas' sprites and used them in parts of mine.

I will not be able to finish these sprites anytime soon! Anyone who would like to use what I have so far or finish these up you are very welcomed to do so.

Reverse Flash Kick I frank'd up for Guile. He put his own spin on Charlie's moves, so I figured this one should be Guile'd as well (and the fact I suck at drawing). There's little to no clean up done, but it's plausible for what it is. If someone wants to touch it up/use it to make a better version, be my guest.

Frank-edit of Ryu's SF3 stance to CVS. I can't remember the original author of the stance is right now. I used cvs the abstract's belt.

After adding it into an sff he is noticeably wider in the body and the legs. Can you slim him down a bit? I thought it at 1st already but figured it might just be the angle making him look so much thicker than CVS Ryu but that's not the case.

Also the bottom of Ryu's left (viewer's right) pants leg animates a bit odd and needs a small tweak as well.

Just tried it myself, and the torso was short compared to the rest of the animations. I made the torso 2 pixels taller.

SFA3 Stance for CVS Ken. Still need fixes(jumpy right arm, some shading issues especially on chest area in one frame, missing dot shade in gloves), but I think it came out decent enough to share. SF Duo Ken will use this stance. It transitions well with existing sprites. 6 frames total.

I haven't seen it till now! But no I wouldn't use it for Opening Gambit cause mine is based on SFxT (and not dumb SFEX). I might use it for the level 2 version of Somersault Strike, though.

Chun-Li Air Hyakuretsukyaku
I just noticed this thread. Buckus, are those my chun li sprites? I think the server I originally hosted my edits disappeared. Not mad if they are, just wondering.
Also, The sprites on page one of Ryu, the ones Balthazar made, are they the correct size?? They seem a lot smaller than my Ryu...
I was bringing them into my Ryu color separation project and they're a good 7 pixels shorter. Anyone have a link to a SFF or an actual Ryu that has them already? I'm trying to get as many "VS" sprites in the Ryu as possible.

I've also created some more images for Chun Li, Ibuki, and for Ryu.

I changed it from an open hand to a closed fist. Not the greatest, but going from fist to palm to fist in the middle of a move... uhuh.nope.

The reason is goes fist > palm > fist is because that animation was intended to be the grab attempt.

Dont get me wrong guys. I love the character. I just thought the force slam would look better with it as a closed fist. IMO it does.
The grab attempt looks good and slenderman was smart to use it as the slam.  I think it looks good at the end of the grab attempt. It looks like he actually grasps P2. I havent changed the actual animation for the slam. I just used FF3 to double the sprite and edited it in FF3. when I scroll through the sprites, the animation basically plays.

As I mentioned I'm doing some editing on Ermac. I think I'm going to make him 6 buttons. I'll post any frankensprites I make here. Maybe as a small SFF too.

I think I can get a lot more animations by adjusting a few arm positions and leg positions for you guys.
Like, I think the image I posted would also work for a good body-hook punch with the proper sprites in front and behind it.

The images arent organized at all... the way I made each sprite was inside of VirtuallTeck's Fighter Factory 3. I'd double the sprite that kinda looked like a good base and expanded it and edited it. So if I made an edit of say sprite 250,4 and wanted it to be 600, it was named 600,4 or if I double that sprite it ended up 600,40 or 600,44. I think maybe sprite 600_1 maybe a duplicate of an original sprite. Not sure. The sprite list in the image WILL NOT be the order of the SFF I linked!!
Obviously they're not cropped either...
The sprites arent that good. But hey, they work for what I want.  I'll probably end up making even more. But I have another project I'm handling the sprites on that deserves more attention.

An update to Zonk Knuckle. Doesn't mimic the SF4 movement, but gets the job done. As always, my work isn't on the level of the pros of this forum, but feel free to modify if you wish.

I got a few rough Sagat edits to share the first one was a sprite I tried to show to Ghost killer for his SF3 Sagat project,
His SF4 crouching.medium kick I don't think he will be using it, but I bet someone somewhere will want to use this with
some editing.

The second one is a sprite animation i made a while back a slight edit to his Hard kick, now it doesn't animate any
more fluidly then the original, but I the ending animation is now edited to look more like a his leg is actually retracting,
rather then simple reverse of frames like in the base game.
