As there were a couple of requests made in my SSFIVAE audio pack thread as found here;
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/ssfivae-super-street-fighter-iv-ae-complete-player-announcer-soundaudio-pack-147898.0.html
I've created a Street Fighter X Tekken Sound Pack which includes;
- 53 English Players Vocals
- 53 Japanese Players/Announcer Vocals
- English Announcer Vocals
- Japanese Announcer Vocals
from a PS3 build.
There are 1,420 English and 1,419 Japanese audio files, in .WAV format, totalling 579MB unzipped.
The audio files have been split by language - English and Japanese.
SFXT > English > Characters > ABL_E.zip, ALS_E.zip etc.
SFXT > English > Characters_E.zip (244MB)
SFXT > Japanese > Characters > ABL_J, ALS_J etc.
SFXT > Japanese > Narration_J.zip (231MB)
The files have been sorted by character, zipped and uploaded to the same location as the SFFIVAE Sound Pack;
http://tinyurl.com/keo27fk
I may create individual Character zips, but not sure if it's worthwhile as the main language packs zipped up, are less than 250MB each - if you folks think it's worthwhile, I will do.
PROCESS
This is the process I followed to rip the audio from the PS3 build;
1. Rename .AWB files to .CPK files
2. Use CriPackedFileMaker.exe to open .CPK narrative files
3. Extract the contents of the .CPK files
4. Create a batch script to use HCA2WAV.exe * to convert all files to .WAV format
* Thanks goes to ProFrager for creating the HCA2WAV util.
PS Interestingly there were three folders with no sound files in them; BLC, DAN and WHC, which hint at possible characters.
-
wait... someone managed to crack hca2 encoding? holy fuck!
-
I guess that would be ProFrager...?
Just listened to Chun Li's files and it seems I've only got the narrative ;(. Will try to figure out which files hold the sound effects and moves vocals.
-
If this ends up working... :stare:

Well there were Asuka and Lili things here that I didnt have.. So I am impressed. :stare:
-
I can't find the sound effects and special moves vocals in the PS3 build. Will switch to the PC build and hopefully the process won't differ from the SSFIVAE rip that much.
-
well let me know how far you get... coz i tried decoding the audio from the pc and xbox versions and got nowhere.
-
I've found the .AWB files in the PC version, I believe the special moves vocals are stored in and I'm unable to unpack those files, but apparently it is possible as someone stated here they can do it;
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/street-fighter-x-tekken-ripping-section-139400.0.html
so I've asked them exactly how.
-
um... yeah... I was one of those guys. The awb encryption was done differently for SFxT, hence my shock when I thought you managed to decompile it. We tried for months and got nowhere.
-
If anyone's got the CPK_Unpack tab 07 beta 7 util, can they dump it somewhere for me to download please? I've hunted around and the newest release I can find is beta 6. Thanks in advance.
-
http://hcs64.com/files/utf_tab07b3.zip
It's not gonna work anyway. as I said, we already tried that, but the encoding is different.
-
That's a link to the 07 beta 3 version isn't it? I came across that link and ignored it as I already had beta 6 which did not work.
Layer says it is possible to extract .ACB files using 07b7 here;
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/street-fighter-x-tekken-rips-139470.0.html
-
and this is what Layer told me
After extracting content from AWB files, you will get numerous HCA files which are ADX2.
Actually we don't know how to extract or convert ADX2 files to another format file.
Edit: posted wrong link, http://hcs64.com/files/utf_tab07b7_special.zip correct one
-
Thanks for that the link to beta 7. However, I'm still unable to unpack an .ACB file;
cpk_unpack.exe ABL_CV_E.acb
cpk_unpack 0.7 beta 7 for UNION.CPK
cpk_unpack.c:50:analyze_CPK: CPK signature not found
Hopefully Layer can advise on how to do it. Has anyone tried ProFrager's HCA2WAV.exe against the .HCA files extracted from an .AWB file?
-
Wow, @MightyKombat: would love these.
-
I would. I wanna update my Ken SND to have the right sounds at long last.
-
just a heads up.. its not in game or move sounds. its the sounds from the rival cutscenes and rival fights.
-
So I've had a look at an Xbox and Mac version. The Xbox version is very much like the PS3 version in that I'm unable to locate the special moves audio files. I'm guessing they're extracted and installed onto the local hard disc when first run on a PS3/Xbox. The Mac version is similar to the PC version and I believe the special moves audio files are held in the same .ACB files. Supposedly it is possible to extract the contents of .ACB files using UTF Tab 07 Beta 7 Special, but I've not been able to figure out how. When I run the command;
cpk_unpack.exe ABL_CV_E.cpk
I get the following
cpk_unpack 0.7 beta 7 for UNION.CPK
cpk_unpack.c:50:analyze_CPK: CPK signature not found
-
Is this suposed to work for the music files as well? If so, I must be doing something wrong.
-
Hey guys. I just went to Sounds Resource look for some more sounds. I actually stumbled upon some interesting voice clips uploaded by Random Talking Bush. One of those voice rips was Bad Box Art Megaman from Street Fighter x Tekken. But that was the only SFxTK voice rip I found.
Also. They're actual fight sounds. Yes, the move vocals.

Holy shit!
This is actually a start!
And I know the rips of Random Talking Bush.
They're usually quality rips.

Alright, I have to ask: with this release, would it now be possible to rip Vanilla SFIV's announcer?? Most likely not, but it's worth asking because I can't find those sound clips ANYWHERE.
-
Vanilla SFIV announcer has been ripped for eons now. It's just that the links are old and on Megaupload links.
-
does anyone know if there are voice clips from "Street Fighter X Tekken" for Rolento?
-
Not yet, but I'm sure that Random Talking Bush is ripping all of the other voices as well.
I'm already waiting for the voices of Vega (Claw), Heihachi and Paul.
-
just realized there is voice clips for paul pheonix already, if i'm not mistakin'
-
"BLC, DAN and WHC"
I think "DAN" was for his Tutorial mode voices? He says stuff when you advance his text box in Tutorial.

Really? Where? I could need these.

Understood.
However, would there be any way to finagle these rips?? I've been looking around for them like a maniac to no avail Anyone have them [SFIV Announcer Rips]??
-
I see the SFXTK anouncer but I need the voices from the chars like Ogre or Jin

Jin's voice has been already ripped by ArmorGon.

Mine right? Well mine are not optimal quality because they are from the console version, so it would probably be better to rip them from the PC version of SF4.
-
I think there was another that ripped them too, but they were probably around the same quality.
-
:grrr:
Would anyone be able to possibly point me in the right direction of SFIV's rips?? I seriously want them and understand if nobody has them.
Pretty please??
-
I don't have SFxTK on the Ps3 and this does not work for the 360 version so could someone convert the VS Screen themes, Menu Themes, Gave Over, Continue, revival, and result screen themes? PLEASE!?
-
I'm pretty sure they're up on youtube, so just look them up and download them.
-
I found these voice sounds but are not complete. I hope they can help you. The quality is lossless ;-)
