Ok, so I've thought about and I prefer x to CFJ2. I'm doing a poll soon. X is more combo heavy. Its closer to a SF4 than cvs 2. But it still has cvs2 elements. Which do you prefer?

X vs CFJ2:
X doesn't have multi leveled supers. Its meter usage and meter gain are higher.
X has lighter hitvels on normals(mainly mediums) which makes links easier to connect.
Ex moves are generally more useful in X.
X has no air guarding. Knock down moves have higher y hitvels.
X was built to be a SF hybrid. I took out features I hated and added some that matched my preferred style. To test them, I released a Ken with the X system. None of my public CFJ2 characters are up to date though

Also, X counters(alpha counters in x) hit harder. I hate air guarding too lol

I'm planning an update for Ken(thanks again Jman). Is there any particular existing CFJ2 character that you guys want to see updated with the X system?

For those that wanted the old system, is there any particular feature you preferred? I'm considering just taking parts of X for now. because Ill be honest., Porting 20 characters fully over would be extremely time consuming. Plus, X uses hi res fx and I don't know how to make them easily tbh.
What would come over?
Alpha Counters would be scrapped for Xs X counter system. Its faster to code and works better imo
Multileveled supers would go for the super system of X
air guarding would go with rare exceptions
Safe fall might get nerfed a bit too
some characters will keep their x buffs/nerfs:
Karin's c.mk can now be special canceled.
Karin's level 3 counter goes and her level 3 2qcf+P takes its place. Her level 2 version becomes her normal super
Cody:
Some animations speed up slightly to take away the awkwardly long hitpauses.
Ex Ruffian upper takes a massive damage hit
Guy:
Cl.mk has less recovery now
If I keep the biggest change in the form of lighter mediums, then a few characters get buffs. I'm too tires to make a list.
I'm scrapping my Jin project for now btw. I could come up with a plan for his mediums. I thought about shorter animations, but they looked dumb. Full but slightly faster animations with unusually high damage didn't work either
