Okay MFG people, welcome to the thread of my ripping soundtracks from old-school plataforms.
This is for all old-school gamers (like me). ;)

This is really cool. While I didn't download these at the time of posting this reply, are your SNES sound files in MP3 format?? I ask because I remember SNES sound rips having a very odd file extension and you needed a plugin to play them just right.

Thanks for sharing though. The SNES had some of the most memorable soundtracks that still hold up to this day.

About Lost Vikings II, i picked from the original OST this time, so the tempo is slow. :P

But i have an in-game rip, but with the tracks together, not separated.

I've downloaded it and it's exactly the Original OST edited in a deep pain in the arse.

...tried to edited... and for the sake of destiny. I've putted it together in one track, without the game title... (Oh... and i've mentioned that the ending credits has it's own music theme?)


...rip it directly from SPC files doesn't work... because you will only listen an only frozen note, as this game has a custom chip which the soundfonts are indeed superior to any other SNES game.
...so for justice... i've experimented with recording via ZSNES, dumping it, and with some file convertors... THIS (surprisly), came out...

...please download and compare it to the OST version... if the tempo is quick, then i'm a mothaf*cking god of editing.

BTW... there is a 'Remake' of The Lost Vikings II... it's called 'Lost Vikings II: Norse by Norsewest' for Saturn, PSX and PC. It's soundtrack is much diferent from the SNES one.
