i shouldn't have to explain why
-
And what is your suggestion for a replacement?
-
idk maybe the G from the logo
-
I BRING TO YOU, THE POWER OF PIXELS

16x16 is a tough canvas to work with
-
that's what she said.
-
It's not about the size, but about the technique

hmmm.... kind of small.
What about the globe? Can something be done with that idea?
-
a 16x16 image will always be small. the globe by itself is too generic for a favicon. "mfg" is pretty specific
-
If you can tell it's MFG. Which I only know because you said so and I had to get my nose nearly on the screen. I'm not arguing, but I like to see choices, ya know like shoes?
-
i'm on 1920 with 100% zoom and can tell it says mfg
-
15 inches, 1366 here, perfectly visible.
-
bump
-
any staff members want to chime in on the subject
-
theres some server side work going on right now so we might take a bit to revisit this. I dont really like the three letters, but i agree that its better than what it was. Theres not really any other symbol that symbolizes mugen instantly that much.
-
Hmmm... how about making the icon the "M" from the Mugen 1.0 releases section?? Just a thought.
-

even i can tell it says MFG and if i can see it it means it's probably visible from space as well. i think it's time for you to either get glasses or change your monitor
-
(http://pausingframes.smeenet.org/mugen/logo2.png) tried to reflect the actual logo. makes it easier to recognize
on another note we should probably change the logo on the fp as well
-
i dont reallly care whats used, the favicon isnt really a pressing issue to me. i prefer the 3 letters.
-
hi
-
The old/current favicon isn't even showing up anymore, at least for me. Perfect time to change it, no?
-
[avatar]//mugenguild.com/~valodim/twi/cloud.png[/avatar]hello
-
mines still better ill have you know
-
didn't see that while skimming the thread tbh. I don't particularly prefer one over the other, anybody wanna give their opinion on this?
-
I prefer c001357's because it reflects the colors of the logo.
-

That one looks even better.
-
I see that (http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt305/cci_walt/MFG16x16_White_zpsa62687d2.gif) was successfully implemented. I hope it looks good enough for everybody now :)

eyup. thanks for your work[avatar]//mugenguild.com/~valodim/twi/hugs.png[/avatar]

Every once and a while I still see the old favicon. Do you think that has to be because of my cookies?
-
Maybe it's because you are looking at the hosted or archived sites. And actually I prefer it to remain this way.
-
I think at home I see the new icon but at work I still see the old one. That would just be some cache issue.

^-- If you still see KFM here, just copy the link, paste it into your address bar, then hit Ctrl+F5 and it'll change to the new one. You can then refresh any tab that is open and the icon will change. I just did that here and now I have the new one only.
-
It worked! Thanks!
-
Obviously you have o press shift/ctrl + f5. You n00b.
-
Yes, but on the icon, not on the pages.
-
network sites still have the old favicon
-
I prefer it to remain this way.
:(
-
why
-
Personal preference, also to remember the old one.
But Valodim decides.
