took me more or less 5 weeks to retouch him and is converted into my style closest to cvs(or something else) gotta give credit to snk for making kof XIII
the people involved in ripping these wonderfull sprites( Jmorphman gave his life in batch converting this set his sacrifice was not in vain ) hope you like the sprite set ,there is still minor flags here and there(somethings scape to the sight) even like that i believe this set is good enough to come with a mugen char convertion,and also hope is usefull as it is......also RL matters begin again tomorrow ,soo it will be a medium hiatous from forum ;chill down it is not a retirement ....
also glad to announce mi next project will be eiji kisaragi to be done in a few months (or a month maybe) after him as already stated mr big will follow soo there is the love for art fighting chars,not forgettig saisyu kusanagi and that juli , i think all of that is more than enough for the rest of this year...

I don't think it was rude. Maybe if ES said "when R@CE makes a CvS style K' for our project" that of course would sounds like he's making R@CE do it, but ES was simply expressing his excitement at the possiblity of R@CE contributing "if" he decided to do so.

well i`m glad you all liked the final work (even it is open for CS or even more retouches) i only wish the previous version i made (some years ago) could dissapear forever( i mean the sprites) ....
for the future i`ll look for another kofxiii conversion...

Lord Kain hold on man. Dude I know ES man lol He asked me to make chars for the game specifically awhile ago and I told him exactly, "I thought I was doing that already though lol."
I told him he can use any of my stuff for the project. So whatever I make in this style of gameplay, he's pretty much got the green light to use man, so its all cool man.

he already made Takuma, and it wasn't bad ... so I'm not sure that would be one of the best options.
I would have loved a XIII --> CVS conversion of Classic 94 Robert, but I think he already made Robert too :S

Hey man, don't say things like that. That sprite set was an important step in getting to where you are now. A lot of artists look back on their earlier works and cringe. But with each new release, you're getting better, and that old version proves it.
That being said, these sprites are awesome.

Dampir im sorry man but i liked your old stuff alot man.
I seriously do. I also liked your old K' touch up too.
I love the new one you did alot man. But dont be surprised if I do a K with the old SFF you released as it still has some great value in my eyes because some people like K without his sunglasses and etc too.
And you see what I did with Mickey so anything is possible.

you see all these comments really help to keep on going with this madness-awesomeness-hobby (is not like i have announced a retairement yet) it is real nice to work with you all,also if any needs a special edit(or edits) for his own version just tell , cause also i know this xiii K does not got some stuff from old one just PM me

Is always to look your oldest works and see how you much one can improve. It makes you feel better and capable. I´m with you about that old K´ spriteset, is... not the best. This one however is an excellent conversion :)

Hey dampir, I just wanna say nice job retouching those kof xiii sprites. I really wanna ask you, as a spriter, how many frames do you generally complete in one day? I know the time spent varies on experience, but I'm just curious.

i could finish 10 - 15 sprites with normal things of real life hapening here and there ...so it also depends on how i am after all of these ;usually i am totally wasted with no will to make anything.
it was until this year that i could acomplish some phenomenal advances in both technique and speed from, 2011-2013 i had my magister and also girlfriend...2014 i have none of those(aprobing magister , girlfriend gone from my life for good) .....leavin me some time just to work and sleep, no f***ing shit around my mind for a while,i talked about RL since it really influence the way your will be to do anything.
from december 2013 to the present time, you can see the amount of time i spent remaking(or spriting) this stuff. ralf sprite set took me 2 weeks this one is about 500 sprites if i recall correctly.....clark steel took a month and that goes on without counting takuma and shermie(released in the first quarter of this year) and now K' that's five chacaters(didn't mention the CS for yamazaki i did during this time)
even as i am right now if there weren't too many distractions, i could perfectly do a sprite set convertion in a month, it did (hapily) happen that i really felt confortable converting kof XIII to this style of mine(some like to call it CVS, i`t is not that i don`t agree with people)
soo per day i could also stay on pc 2 or 3 hours sometimes i can easyli finish 20-30 sprites during that time...umm dunno if this answers your question...
