SHUT UP
-
Tapatalk a shit
-
can you at least explain what tapatalk does and what benefits it would bring? you've only made 3 posts here and they all mention tapatalk. you almost sound like you work for tapatalk at this point

I second the motion.
-
I doubt he's going to explain it, since he's just asking for it a lot and nothing else.
-
He isn't a bot but it won't stop me from reporting him as one if his next post features nothing but hollow advertising.

What is Tapatalk?
edit: I wanted him to explain what it was. :P

https://tapatalk.com/
this apparently.
-
did you honestly believe nobody googled that and you needed to post it?
-
no just figured id be THAT guy to just post it so w/e. It doesn't seem useful.
-
Looks good but isn't the site good as it is?
-
It's a mobile app I see.
-
this apparently.
Yeah, it's not enough that he only posts about it repeatedly, someone needs to actually link to the site, that way the guy is not the spambot, you are doing his job for him.
At least link to Wikipedia instead if you really need to.
-
Can somebody install CommonSenseMembers and NoDumbPosters ? It will make my browsing experience so much better.
-
Tapatalk is this "awesome" little software for mobiles which adds "Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk " like sentences to each post.
-
I've used Tapatalk before and it's really useful for mobile foruming...makes it easier to interact with
I just checked and there is a Tapatalk plugin for Simple Machines, but I really have no idea what that entails.
I'd use it.
-
im against it only because it means posts that end with "sent from my refrigerator" lines
additional support for tablets is a good idea though, and the current mobile design is a little dated
-
Unrelated note, but who stickied the shit thread? Is it supposed to be a sticky now?
That may have been me by accident on mobile sorry D:
Do you need Tapatalk on your mobile ?
-
No I need better control of my fingers. Always getting into places they shouldnt be......

Lol.
Wow, a request to install something on the site's server. Might as well get some viruses prepared for installation too. The gall you have, Sir. The gall.

that's what she said

-
come on, that was a good "that's what she said" joke :P
-
uhhhhh the point of it was to be sexual so [e]'s attempt is null and void!

I personally think it's alright on tablets as-is, since it's the same as desktop, currently.
Last I checked, Guild's "mobile" design is still meant for REALLY old cell phones, but the layout won't appear that way on Android and iOS devices (source: I own both).
-
Not to mention that on smartphones and tablets, most of the time you still have the option to switch back to the desktop version anyway, even if the site detected and forced the mobile version. So yeah, the mobile version is only if you really can't use the desktop version.
-
who here actually has to use the mobile version? Show of hands people.
-
Me
Edit: ait no i view full version on mobile. It works well
-
My view of Guild runs just fine using the desktop layout on my Note 2.
I think this issue only pertains to people who have older tech/phones.
-
In fact, there are a couple of sites I visit that always try to display the mobile version on both my phone and my tablet when they get the chance (they let me turn it off), but I never even saw Guild's mobile version. Does it even detect the machine accessing it like those other sites do, is there even any trigger to automatically activate the mobile version ? Aside from directly clicking "mobile" at the bottom of the page.
-
i see it all broken as mobile.
-
How do I know if I'm using the mobile version?
-
under eosalpha 1.0pre on the footer bar there is a line that says HTML | RSS | Mobile.
click on that
