Title: I really want to hire an artist that can do custom Fighting Game Sprites.

And it is really hard to find the talent! Even though I'm willing to pay more than people that commission artwork.

Can someone refer to me an artist that can draw humanoid/bipedal characters, is willing to work commision (even though I plan to draw a contract), and can do fight game-ish animation ? Is there a place where I can post a classified add? The classified section does not seem appropriate here. One of the rules is don't ask for original content, if I read that correctly.

Halp. I've never thought it would be so hard to get artists to take my money XD

I would try deviantART. If you can specify me what exactly you want to commission I can recommend you some artists there I know from working with them in art collaborations.

I need someone to animate this character. I've already posted in deviant art twice but I couldn't find someone with the skills I need. Consequently, I've seen people that have drawn out Mugen characters who I really want to hire.

You would have to specify which graphical style you're aiming for, and then look for an artist that can fullfill your comission. Giving a brief explanation about the character(fighting style, etc) would help too.
