I've created a character. I've used other creators work(s). Out of my edits, and Ive done about 10 that I havent released, I feel that this creation isnt and shouldnt be considered an edit of 1 character. I plan on releasing it in original releases. I mean, my Samus is an edit of KFM, but you wont see a sign of him anywhere in the character. How much has to be edited until it's not an edit?
I'm not sure if I've ever seen a mugen character like this. It was done as a sort of Proof of Concept. It's 90% done so I thought it was time for a release.
I'd like to talk to whom ever would be likely to move my topic before I post it. I dont want to talk about the character until it's released in pubic. I'd like a moderator to PM so I can figure out the best plan of action.

The people specifically modding that section (Shwa and Evil Homer) aren't very active in doing any mod work. You'll want to talk to a global mod for that.

It's different for every creation so I can't give you a direct answer, it's something you should really judge yourself when releasing. If you feel your creation different enough from your base then please feel free to post it in the normal releases section.

Once Nyapamaster/elecybte (not Elecbyte!) released an edit of a character (I remember his Vega/Dictator), but it was so different from the base that it was moved from the Edits to the general Release board.
If you edit your character so much that you can't even see or recognize the base, then it belongs in the general board, in my opinion.

It's like happened with the Nakoruru I released. I converted her to a VS Styled, changing various things and implement some VS system elements on her.
The thread are moved to the edits.[Don't get me wrong, I'm just noticed this xD]

Thanks guys,
I posted my Yun&Yang character in the regular 1.0+ section.
I feel the fact that you can control both Yang and Yun make it a lot different. I dont think I've ever seen a character like this except that Dhalsim that has clones. Even that's not the same thing. I posted it here (http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/yunyang-duo-custom-2-time-character-162771.0.html) if anyone's interested in it.
The base Yang wasnt changed much. Apparently the Yun side still needs work. <_<

I quickly scrolled through some of the replies to this topic of yours (I'm also coding illiterate :( ) and all of the feedback you got isn't necessarily a bad thing. You have an ambitious character here, and feedback that's left will only help you improve on him. I like your idea and wish you the best with further updates.

The critiques are partially why I released the character. I was feeling a little bored with it, knew it was buggy, and needed a little inspiration to keep working on it. All of the feedback is great imo. The more I do with Yun&Yang, the more I can do with the next Duo.
