NEW!

Espeon joins the fray. Its Future Sight is a force to be reckoned with.

A beta version of Vaporeon is out.
It's basically finished, but I'm not quite satisfied with the Aqua Ring effects (but at least it's my first attempt at making my own FX).

Known issues:
-Effect for Surf is misaligned sometimes
-the water ring FX in Aqua Ring might get replaced at some point
-if you defeat Sandslash with Surf while Sandslash is underground thanks to Dig, you have to wait around 30 seconds until the game recognizes that you have won
-Sometimes, Surf instantly kills Pikachu (and no, it has NOTHING to do with Critical Hit), and sometimes, it doesn't

Spoiler: Jolteon (click to see content)

Spoiler: Flareon (click to see content)

Credits are in the readme file now.
I hope you enjoy the release, and please leave me some feedback.

Wow, that was fast. I'll check this out later today. One question though, why do you say that only "sometimes" Fire Blast will kill Venusaur? Is it because of critical hit damage? That would be double and deadly I'm sure, lol.

Edit:
Hmm, interesting use of the Fire Blast. I thought it was going to be the whole effect moving forward. That's why the flames trail backwards as if pushed by the wind. It still looks good though. It was tough to beat Blastoise, but I actually got him with Flamethrower. Mewtwo killed me once, but then a I got a critical on the Flamethrower and finished it with Flare Blitz. He plays well. He's fast, but not too powerful as I did lose many times... especially to Honchcrow. That thing got criticles on every turn.

The select portrait is a quite bit off-centre (not the icon, the actual portrait). Try this:

It should be indexed, just put it at axis 0,0.

Also, Flamethrower is one word ;)

Feedback:

1. The collisions when Flareon gets hit are huge! Even though they are Kung Fu Man's, it might be a problem if you got hit by stray projectiles or attacks from somewhere that isn't your body.

2. I get debug errors from Fire Blast changing to an invalid action (523).
a. In addition, sometimes it misses foes completely! I understand it's the accuracy you're replicating, but you need to warn people about this.

3. Flamethrower needs toning down on the helper use, even though it's copy-pasted from Quilava. Just like how Blastoise's Bubblebeam does exactly 65 hits of damage, it will deal exactly 95 hits of damage, making all resistances to Fire worthless. At least reduce it down to 19 hits of 5 damage or something more system-friendly.

First post updated with an updated Flareon (Hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr) and...a patch for Alexei's Quilava, which updates his Flamethrower.
Haven't changed the spelling for Flamethrower, though. I know it is a single word, but I assume that Ryon (who is a BIG fan of POKéMON) kept Alexei's spelling for a reason, which I'm still trying to find out.
In other news, I'm working on Vaporeon right now, and I would like to know, if there exist effects of a watery ring.
Sliced in half, if possible, so one layer can be in front and the other layer can be behind Vaporeon, kinda for perspectivity purposes (it is needed for Vaporeon's Aqua Ring).

Vaporeon Feedback:

1. Hydro Pump is not affected by Critical Hits. It deals the same damage even with a critical.

2. Surf could be made longer on the ATB, as it's just slower than Quick Attack and can be abused in the same way.
a. The only work-around I can think of for Sandslash's Dig problem with Surf is to not have the collision box of the waves cover beyond the floor, where everyone is standing on, so that Sandslash can avoid Surf.

Flareon Feedback:

1. Flamethrower is much better now, but it may need to be spread out to show more emphasis of the flames pouring out of the Pokemon, by spacing each projectile from each other. It's almost like the pokemon ran out of flames before it could continue.

I can't check now, but are you saying that I spelled Flamethrower as two words in Quilava?

Also, I don't think there are water ring effects like that, but I could try making some for you. Seems slightly more involved than making the Fire Blast effects. I'll probably publicly release them as well.

Feedback:

1. Espeon's collisions need to be taller, but not that tall. Some pokemon, like Venusaur's Solarbeam, completely misses it.

2. Collisions on Quick Attack may need to be a bit bigger. Sorry I didn't notice this earlier in your other Eeveelutions.

3. Future Sight's re-coloured thunder effect looks weird for the attack you've used. Maybe try various objects falling down on the opponent or something to represent the opponent's bad luck?

4. When Synchronize kicks in, an electrified effect plays as if you've electrocuted the opponent, even though you haven't. Try using Mugen's standard "hit" explod (F0 for the Explod State) instead, and don't bother with the electrified sound effect either.
i. In addition, a huge red collision appears and stays on the screen, making hit detection difficult to track. After the opponent has the status effect, try to get rid of the red collision.

It's an alright character to play, although Psychic is still overpowered despite the steps you took to prevent this. It feels like an "I win" button without it being a legendary pokemon.
