Title: Stadium P.D.N. (Project)
Post by: Ninni973 on October 26, 2014, 12:05:12 pm
Hello, and I'm new to this forum, but I know most of the rules because I have an account on the DKC Atlas forums. Today, I present you guys a project I would like to work together with you guys: Stadium P.D.N. The P stands for Pokemon, the D, Dragon Ball Z, and the N, Naruto. The game will have a SSBB-style screenpack, and the characters in the game are:

I can't really make characters due to transparency problems in Fighter Factory Classic/Ultimate/3, so if anyone could help me, or make the characters for me, I would appreciate it.

I'll post a pic of Dylan later.

EDIT:

And I would like him sprited in MvC style please. Thank you.
Hold up there, buddy. Are you saying that you want us to sprite your OC for you?

Yeah.

Yeah, that's not going to happen unless you pay somebody to do it for you. Spriting a character takes a lot of work, and people won't just jump in and make something for you, mainly because they won't really gain anything by doing it.

You're better off borrowing someone else's sprites, and re-coding them in MvC style, or start from scratch and sprite them yourself.

Sure, I'll just use Balthazer and Cybaster's Goku Z2 sprites. I'll make sure that I give them credit.

Just change Goku's palette and you'll be done with it.

I did that already, and it worked. Thanks anyways.

Oh, and can anybody make a good Chikorita, Budew, Riolu, Piplup, and Shinx? I have a decent Pichu already. I need them for my game Stadium P.D.N. which is still not finished).

lets get this straight: it doesnt work like that

you cant have people make it for you. you either make it yourself, commision a character for a lot of money, or just hope one day these characters will be made.

Well, I thought about spriteswapping for example, Oshawott with Piplup. That way, I could have a Piplup. It'll take me a lot of work, but it'll be worth it.

UPDATE: A surprise character, UCF Goku, steps into the ring!

He's basically a SSJ Goku Z2 recolored, so nothing much.

Added China Mountains stage.

And sadly, the link to the SSBB screenpack is broken, so I'll look for some other screenpack... :(

EDIT: The demo for Stadium P.D.N. has been released! Changes:

It doesn't have all characters in the list, as it is a demo.

Tell me what you think. Enjoy!

Hey Ninni if you're going to have your OC in the game, you should totally voice act it too:

Um... no. That's not really a lot of work at all. You should really be making each character from scratch to fit your game's style. If the game has no conformity, system, or anything definable, it will be nothing more than a compilation. I think before dreaming big, you should start small and actually learn how things work in mugen. Then, it will be worth it. I apologize for being blunt about this, but that's just how it is. You'll be happier with yourself by doing it right.
