good to me and I get tired of doing so many chars and stages I like to practice with something else for a change and when you finish the stages of KOF XIII (not all just 1 more) I'm thinking of starting with sprites, I would like to do any of 3 and as I hesitate at first to get started which I leave to vote.

There really isn't any way to fast forward the spriting process. You just gotta take your time and do them. That's pretty much all there is to it; kill, finesse, time, and dedication.

design the sprite work so it can eb made in multiple, clearly defined steps, then work on one step at a time for a bunch fo sprites, that way it becomes easier to become proefficient/faster.

Yes, you got better with them, congratulations :)
Also, for the second thing, have you thought in working using layers in Photoshop? Shermie would be mostly a recolour+minour fixes in most of the outfit EXCEPT the "scarf"/thing in her shouders that you would have to make manually.

Of course, my vote is for Shermie too...
Her move list will be based on Orochi Shermie (only) or she's still using some of her regular movelist?
Perhaps new moves.

Too bad ther is no CS sprites for her KOF/NGBC sprites.
Would have been a great help for your work.

I was busy these days you can not do much alone colors stop all the sprites, these are some of the possible palettes ;)
