Title: asking opinion about my jacket design

I decided to design a leather jacket (for daily commuting on and off the bike)

the design is inspired by knight's armor and moto jacket.

would be made of heavy cow leather, I want the center body/ torso part to be thick and armor like(probably double layers).
while the side panel and under arm panel to be made softer
almost collarless, dual bottom to bottom zipper heads (so it can be only zippered on the middle leaving the top and lower part open)
and on the back I want a pocket to slide in backbone protector or soft water bottle/ pouch (or sword??? lol)
usual riding jacket features: slightly curved arm also slightly rotated forward

my first jacket is tan colored goat/ sheep skin, and learning from that.... I want more classic color in heavier leather
does it look good (in your opinion)? 
anything to add?
anything against?
black, or gray, or brown?

yeah brown is cool, I really need to see the leather with my own eyes, computer skin can't show real color, last time I wanted potato skin kind of brown from their cataloque and what I got was more carrot like, thankfully it was a natural dye or something, so after several month of use it is already weathered and fading to look real nice.

That design is awesome. I'd buy that regardless of price!
I think the color should be jet black with white stripes. That's just me, though.

I want "normal" color indeed, black, brown, or gray.. I know the importance of white stripes for riding at night

Today I went to the jacket maker, former neighbor & used to be a client of my mom... quoted me $250 (how cheap it is for European or US, but it is more than a month salary for lots of people living in my country including fresh university graduates) for a full custom thickest fullgrain cow hide they have (because fuck lambskin jacket) hopefully it turns out well.  :buttrox: totally hyped

I think adding zipper on both sides of the jacket, near the hip area, would add a nice touch. :)

like that you mean?

I know it is fitting my design more than this picture, if the zipper can be obscured, it might be interesting, and useful when sitting with the main zipper closed, thanks Storm

Oh man, the zippers on both sides remind me of Remy's jacket from SF3, holy shit how I loved that jacket.
If this jacket ever becomes available in North America, I'm going all in for it! :D :D

I ended up choosing for black, I think once it ages and slightly fades into gray or brownish gray, it would look badass.
Years ago my mom bought me a bomber made by them, and it was neat and made of very strong leather, been through rain totally soaked and all when I was riding bike everyday, it was a ready made jacket of standard model and while it fit my shoulder it was a bit baggy on my waist and arm, so I gave it away, the same jacket model my mom bought for his husband the same time she bought me, still looking good, must have been 18-20 years now since I was in highschool then.

Anyway. I will wait and see their workmanship on this one :), will post a picture of it later.
