So...I've been here for several months now, but have just been sort of there. Been messing around with M.U.G.E.N and having fun with it, and finding it a nice gateway for series I wouldn't have known much about otherwise.'

I do have one thing to nervously confess to you guys... Apart from Touhou Hisoutensoku (and Smash Bros. if that counts), I haven't really played any fighting games, but I intend to learn and I feel particularly interested in 'em. Unfortunately real life situations make it so I can't afford to get any. Probably part of why I don't feel ready to create much of anything yet, since I lack proper FG know-how.  :(

Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this community, whatever the case. It seems like a fairly nice one.

Great you stopped in to introduce. Well ill say take your time with creating. Theres more than enough time for that. There are a ton of characters to try out for mugen, so many versions. Some are created to match the source as much as possible and some characters are just total freestyle and out there to possibly enjoy from one creators imagination. Mugen can introduce you to fighting games you never played before but keep in mind not all are created to be just like the original. There are Creators here who faithfully create characters more so close to its original arcade or console source in gameplay.

Learn as much as you can from the development section when you are ready to start creating :mugoi:

Thanks for the advice, mate. At some point I might work on something, but for now I'm just gonna continue playing around with stuff.

My friend you are not the only one who hasen't played any fighting games my parents didn't let me play games much at all I only started gaming about 5 years ago just when i moved to australia before then had no idea what street fighter was hell even a console even now I still haven't played any street fighter games except mugen if that counts the only tip I have is "Go with the flow not against it"
