Title: Char select problem

Does anybody know what people mean by putting unplayable chars like this?

 :)=Playable Character
 >:(=Empty Space
:ninja:=Unselectable character


Its driving me NUTS!!!!

It's a way to arrange your character selectscreen so that you won't ever be able to move your cursor on the unselectable character.

Notice how the unselectable character is the only character in its row and column?  The other slots are just empty spaces.
If you've set your Mugen up so that you can't move over empty spaces, your cursor won't be able to reach the slot of the unselectable character.

In adition to what vgma2 said, while you can't select that character, the computer has free access to it, meaning that you could fight against them.
Aka is a hidden character complete with sometimes not being visible in the select screen
