Thanks for this release! I LOVE what you did with Wolverine! He's almost perfect!
My only nitpick is that his AI seems non-existent. Any chance of an AI patch in a future release?
Title: Re: Gill, Vega, & Wolverine by Froz

It's kind of rude to nitpick on AI, most creators want to focus on how the character plays rather than how a computer can make it fight. It would be a courtesy to refrain from asking about it unless its specified in the OP for the future

Um, the Vega linked appears to be Killer Kong / Evil Homer's edit of POTS Vega (http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/p-o-t-s-vega-edit-one-year-later-update-updated-14032014-158067.0.html).
Is this an error, or...?

Could you add a little note next to Vega's name in the thread title just to tell it's Dictator/M.Bison? Too used to US names, lol.
Great release btw.

Thanks for the release...
On Vega
IMO Normal Vega shouldn´t have those "Psycho" effects on his normal punch attacks.
Final Vega - Normal taunt spech still goes, even if you do the b+taunt laughter, it does not cancel the spech...
What´s up with his normals in the readme?
You should be more specific in your readme, p.e. add (Normal Mode Only) on Psycho Crusher special.
Is it intentionally that Final Vega can do his "Super Psycho Break Smasher" as a level 2 with (charge) B, F, B, F, p (one punch, no MAX version), but no level 1 version? If so, please add it in the readme...
How about adding that intro from SF EX2 to Final Vega?
On Gill
Love the super finish font you used!
- On "Allow Recharge Upon Resurrecting" config... Maybe you should restrict "Resurrection" on 1 time in a round only, so even with "Power Charge" it would be "kinda balanced" or "fairer".
Wolverine
Nitpicking...
- You forgot to add the Wall Jump in the readme
- wrong pal.defaults in the def
- IMO last hit of the "Weapon X" level 3 looks very anticlimactic, just like "Fatal Claw" super. Maybe use another fx for that.
Great work! Love it!

Those chars look pretty damn interesting Froz. About to try them out!
EDIT:
DAMN! yo man I didn't know you had skills creating chars too lol. I thought you were all just about hyper portraits! haha
I played with Both chars and I watched them in AI mode also and wow great job man. The FX choices and combat system are hot. I liked Vega More since im a M bison user haha. Most importantly I noticed you threw in some SSF4 moves for Vega . very nice touch man
That Vega creation of yours for me is the second best to have out there aside from Pots.....
I hope you do more creations........Uhh
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
Maybe your version of terry bogard or GUY >:) lol

Wolverine
- If the opponent is above Wolverine during Fatal Claw, the gethit sparks are misaligned. - Unlike back Punch Throw, forward Punch Throw seems to have him be misaligned a little. He moves forward too much and looks like he's hitting nothing - Read me says there's a Max version of Beserker Charge, but I don't see one. - Speaking of Beserker Charge, unless I'm missing something, what's the point of the move? It's basically a shorter weaker version of Custom Combo - Maybe lower the damage of Max Fatal Claw a little or add more of a damage dampener on it, as one can get combos in the 700s with that super
I like him

For Wolverine, the following attacks do not show blood when connected even when blood option is turned on:
Standing Fierce
Both throws
Fatal Claw (this may be intentional)

Also, for Wolverine, his Kick Throw gives him too much meter. You just need to use it 4 times to fill his bar completely

Really nice Vega. It finally replaced POTS' version for me (as much for novelty as anything, I admit). My only complaint is the readme seems to be a bit lacking in info. Not sure why EX moves are disabled in Final mode or what it offers besides access to Psycho Shot/Cannon and a different Knee Press Nightmare, and I had to fiddle around to work out how to connect with Devil Reverse.

Is boss mode Knee Press Nightmare underpowered to you? It seems rather weak to me, but overall, damn good job. Interesting take on Gill also

Here are some links for updates since the Wolvie's files are corrupt and Vega's CMD is giving off an error.
- Speaking of Beserker Charge, unless I'm missing something, what's the point of the move? It's basically a shorter weaker version of Custom Combo
With Beserker Charge, he can still parry/block. But I agree, it should stand up with more extras. I just don't know what (Suggestions are welcome).

Thank you for the update! :)
On Vega... Love the Street Fighter EX2 Intro on Final Vega. Looks great!
- Final Vega has a intro where he´s just standing in his normal stance, no speech no nothing - Hell attack normal, should be more specific in the readme (can be done after a diagonal jumped y) - Lv2 hyper (Final Vega) is called "Psycho Break Smasher", hyper ko text is "Super Psycho Break Smasher"

Great and quick update!
Very small nitpick...
Final Vega
- since he has two different versions of the "Super Psycho Break Smasher" (on as a level 2, the other his level 3), maybe rename the level 3 into "Final Psycho Crusher"

I noticed that your bison has identical velocities and hit boxes in a few areas as an edit of Vega by Evil Homer/Killer Kong. You didn't credit him. Homer got those velocities and applied them to that vega from artmoney. The least you could do was include him since he was part of your character's code. And by identical I mean you didn't change anything from what I see. I'm not accusing you of theft or anything, but you should always give credit where its due. If you didn't know now you do lol.
To be fair it's kinda good you used his base because his vels are a lot better than the original by pots which was guess work and not that good.
Title: Re: Gill, Master Bison (Vega) & Wolverine by Froz
Post by: Killer Kong on December 28, 2014, 05:56:41 am
The post above is basically all I'd have to say on the matter.
I'd just like to point out that your scissor kick vels aren't using my updated ones (I might not have uploaded my edit's update!) if you'd like them to be more proper in terms of acceleration/decel I can dump the code and/or the update if you'd like.
Also please namedrop me =P
List of feedback on Vega, extra!
- Can't link from LP into Cr.MK, adversely Cr.LP into Cr.MK does not work anymore. - Scissors are strangely frame safe, is this based on SF4? - In fact, a lot of his normals have strange frame data overall. None of them are disadvantage, which rubs me weird.

Regarding Gill, his Meteor Strike causes some frame lag upon hit and during activation.
Nice to see his grab super in (it was my idea for Hero's Gill lol) with some added touch.

why throw this on at the end?
Title: Re: Gill, Master Bison (Vega) & Wolverine by Froz

Because it's true. PotS didn't really get accurate data from the actual games, he used guesswork and for Vega in particular as it was REALLY OLD WORK it didn't turn out so great. A lot of things, particularly scissor kick and knee press nightmare, were really really floaty and were stiff. That's the main thing, and it's mostly because artmoney tables and data tables were harder to access when Vega was made. The joys of early MUGEN.
To clarify his old Vega was NOT bad but some things from it didn't age supremely well and I think those would qualify as one of them.
Title: Re: Gill, Master Bison (Vega) & Wolverine by Froz
Post by: Kirishima on December 28, 2014, 06:27:10 am
He (Kamekaze) was mentioning how frame data on Pots' Dictator, created many years ago, is outdated and the new code dump by Evil Homer uses precise results, done this year.
Please don't tell me you thought that was a jab to Pots.

i was just wondering how the heck thats relevant to your initial post is all
It's completely relevant. I started by saying that he used an updated edit of the same char which was not that good. And it was my opinion stating that at least he used a better version than the original. : \

Posting to say the issue has been resolved privately and civilly through intense civil war and a grueling political debate about the importance of Folgers coffee, Frosted Flakes, and the crediting of the Windows Calculator application.
There should be no more discussion on the usage of my whatever as a base as it has been resolved. Back to our regularly scheduled program!

Vega's Intro against Geese gives an error. You need to change the animation 308 to 306 to fix it. And Crouching Light Punch is still too fast. I can chain it to 5 hits. Edit: Also Crouching Light Punch to Crouching Medium Kick gives an error. (http://i.imgur.com/NFY5v8e.png)
