I was thinking of making a Shulk in Mugen. Me being someone who can't draw humans, I have to resort to my 3D animation software also adding a cel shader to it but I don't think people might like 3D characters in their Mugen and mostly prefer Sega Genesis/Windows 95 platformer styled sprites. I don't know, what do you guys think? Is 3D a yes or a no?

Do something because you want to do it, not because everyone wants it. Otherwise you'd be making P.o.T.S styled characters.

Whatever you want, my man. Just don't make it have a lot of shading :|

You really need to think a bit more before hitting that "new topic" button.

Yeah, might wanna slow down with the threads.
To answer the question though, create what makes you feel happy and motivated. All different kinds of creations have their own niche; people who like it will respond accordingly. :)

the most well known if not most respected original character is a 3d model
