I hate to be THAT guy, but I don't think running sprites through a filter is exactly hi-res (I mean, it TECHNICALLY is, but it just blurs details in the original sprites that work because of the lower resolution). I haven't playtested the character, so I can't really say much about gameplay changes/improvements over Omegapsycho's SSF2 E. Honda owing to my current lack of MUGEN editing software (and really just a MUGEN folder in general), but what exactly is different apart from filtered sprites? It HAS been a while since I've looked at Honda's DEFs though...

when i read hires I thought this would be the one from SF 2 remix but it's still a cool concept too.

I only edited sprites nothing else. About the filter: it's not just filter, most of the work I've done with Photoshop. Maybe 30% filter 70% PS.
