Ok I have another problem with this. It seems when player 2 wins the first round and then player 1 wins the secant it triggers the win pose. How can I make it where it only happens if player 1 wins both rounds?

at the bottom the person with the red hair is that regina??if it is that could be used as an easter egg because regina is from dino criss made by capcom


yeah that is but i am going to edit her in the next release and she will be Erika and i kind of have to keep it that way cuz the story is loosely based off of my wife lol

Ok I tested it and its right, for some reason p2name doesnt work in state 190, in state -2 it works all the time, you are right.

But this here works:
[mcode]trigger1 = enemy,name="ken"[/mcode]

For two opponents:
[mcode]trigger1 = enemy(0),name="ken"
trigger2 = numenemy>1
trigger2 = enemy(1),name="ken"[/mcode]
In this case put all the other conditions in triggerall (you dont need most of them if your in state 190 anyway)

What I meant with kill=0 is, adding this to every hitdef you have, and sending the characters to the special state (p1state, p2state=...),  I dont think that this is worth the effort though.

I think the most reasonable way to do what you want is to make a special win state VS that special character. So you add this changestate controller to your state 180 (win state decider). Is there any problem with that?



Yes whenever I do this and add the “triggerall = p2name = "ken"“ it wont work unless I make the winpose for all characters

Hmmm Pretty good game I'd say. Well anyone can change the spark pack if they don't like it. Anyway where did you get the street fighter alpha screen pack?

i think it's offline now but i got it along time ago from TRIALFORCE

Are you pausing the game (pause controller) while they talk to each other?
You said they BOTH say a few lines, does this mean that the talking only happens between two of your own characters?
Then you could add kill=0 to their hitdefs and make it like the MK-finishing move.

I am trying to make it where player 2 gets up then starts talking to player one after match over. I have pulled this off pretty good but I have one big problem after they exchange a couple of sentences it switches to player 1's win pose and it goes to the next match no matter how long i set the time for. I am trying to get it to last a lil longer for I can have a good story going how can i do this?

Since it uses Street Fighter Alpha/Zero characters, you can either use sfa/sfa2/sfa3 or cvs/cvs2 hitsparks. Just a suggestion.

i want to keep it real tho with blood so unless i can think of something better with blood i am stuck

You have a pretty interesting project here. You need to change the hitsparks, as said, and balance things out so each char is as good as the others, but also so the game system is the same for each char.

- For example, Yun didn't have any air recovery, so he could get killed by Chunli only using the C button to send him in the air and juggle to death.
- Chunli's crouching C can hit many times.
- Shin Akuma's qcb*2+P misses if performed very close to the opponent.

Maybe I'll take the time to test the game more later on. I also think the select screen is kinda cluttered with all these chars. Could be a good idea to switch to high-res and offer some nice custom portraits and all.

Thanks i'll write all that down for my things to do. I'm not sure about a high-res screen pack, might look off with the stages and characters but i'll look into it. As for the sparks, what would be something you would like to see?

I wait for future updates. I am a huge fan of Street Fighter.

I would not wait cuz the next real update might be over a year so yeah

 Dude all i have to say is that you did a very good job at doin this, i wish it was more games put together 3ell like what you did, this is very awesome

I was gonna ask why not have it where everybody has chain combos like the dark version characters but i guess you were goin for accurancy like the real alpha games so, its all good, anyway, very good game, i giv it a 8 out of 10 only cus i kno your going to add more in it...   :)

thank you I do hope to get a lot more in like..

4 special moves for everyone and 3 supers for everyone - right now it's a lil unbalanced
2 throws for everyone - don't know if I can do this by next release but lets hope
Also I always felt all good games have a good story so I might add more story to each character by adding cut seens after some matches 

If there is anything anybody would like to see in next release or just some mistakes you may have noticed go ahead and tell me now for i can get all that in

Nevermind, figured it out.

What edits were made to the original characters, aside from the hitsparks?



changed up alot of the moves and just did alot of editing here and there. It's hard to say cuz i did so much changes to this game thru the years

Hey, I tried this full game out. It's great and if I needed to give a rating, I would give it a 7 out of 10 :). As long as the characters do not play like the original author's, it should be okay. Although, there are some things I like and don't like:

Like:
- Characters play different to original author's (Most important one for a full game if you not going to create the characters on your own)
- Great SFZ custom characters
- Intros and endings for each character
- All characters use the same hitsparks and charging sparks (Which is a good thing)

Don't Like:
- Hitsparks (They just don't look that good)
- Juni is in this game but not Juli?
- Music is not accurate to the stages in the original games
- Who is Erika? (I've never seen this character before, is she a guest character for this full game?)

the hitsparks kind of bug me too but i want to keep the whole blood feel to it but i don't want to make them to cartoony ether so i am at a lost for hit sparks

Juli was in the game but since she already shows up as a striker for Juni (and pretty much plays the same) i decided to take her out for now but i am still thinking of putting her in again

as for the music i put them as i liked them pretty much was not really worrying about the original music

Erika is E.R. Regina character but i planned on reediting her to make her more of a new original character but could not get the editing done in time for first release so she will be redone in next release

Intros and endings for all characters?  ??? Wow that must've taken a lot of time. I have to try this out then.

Yeah it did take along time when i first started the game it was back in like 2002 when mugen was just getting started lol but i did this game off and on just recently did i really start working hard on it

No need to make a big fight about this just try out the game everyone. It's for fun and it's for the people of mugen no need to take this release to serous it's just something that helped me learn and maybe someday it will help me create a more original project but for now just have fun with this game it's worth the download

I asked some but the only one that got back to me was N64Mario i had a hard time getting everyone's e-mail and alot of the addresses i got were not valid anymore so i released it as is hoping no one takes offence by it.

This is a game I put together using other peoples creations I just edited some things and added intros and endings for each character. I did credit everyone I could think of in a read me but if there is anyone I forgot(and I'm sure there is) just let me know and I'll credit them in the next update. Tho if any of the original creators have a problem with this game I will take it down out of respect. I have a lot of ideas for this game and right now it's not perfect but hopefully if no one has a problem with this game maybe I could get it to a point where I'm happy with it.

For the guard spark go for something like silver/metalgrey...

And if you want post a screeny of the new select, I would like to see it!

I was thinking something like that or maybe something with yellow i'll try somethings out

It don't show up well with the pic but i put white lines on the edges for it looks closed off

That's what I thought but I was not sure lol. What would you like to see for the gourd spark, more red to it or something else, white maybe? I‘m kind of at a lose for that but maybe I'll do some exploring with it in later releases. I fixed the menu screen but as for resizing the cells they just would not fit ether way but i was able to make it at lest look like the characters all fit so that will have to do i guess.
