i didnt.And its not because of that because as you can see above, the MUGEN engine worked but the portraits was messed up. The only time NEowave worked was only when i put the lifebars w/ the messed up portrait on.  These are the only files in the Neowave data folder when i unzipped it.

i tried the new DBZ lifebars and got this error. ???

Error Message: Can't Find file front/Chrono.fnt
Error loading fight data: fight.def
Error loading system data: data/system.def

look in the fight.def and system.def and make sure all the files are in the right place

its looks like it. here is what i have:

The only def's i have are fight and select. i dont see a system.

^ that problem has nothing to do with neowave, you're probably using outdated DOSMUGEN stuff with neowave.

It was said that this version "Neowave.B" DIDN'T have lifebars in it unlike his last version "Neowave.A", So yes you have to include your own lifebars and it doesn't have to be just the VF5LB package.

It would be nice if users would actually read the comments before going,

Quit whining and read the damn topic before crying over something that was already answered. 
funny XD...... but true  :(

btw FX = Effects so fightfx = FIGHT EFFECTS...  :o  .... effects are not actually part of a "lifebar pack"

Portrait Problem

I have finally gotten the Neowave screenpack to work but the portrait is funny w/ these lifebars and i cant install others. How can i fix it?

dude, .A had lifebars included.... having a problem other than installing your own is the most stupid thing ever, if you can't add chars.... GET THE DAMN FIX I posted.... seriously  --;
smh. we r talkin bout the music looping problem when i said i had the same problem on version A.

what if it was an interactive mugen stage where you could jump on objects like crates and whatnot or a soul calibur type stage where you are on a raft in the water and could knock somebody off.

dude ur mising files u have fight.sff but not fightfx.sff or fightfx.air thats the main problem basically its saying cant find fightfx.sff which leads to not being able to read fight.def which leads to not being able to read data/system.def its a chain reaction jus grab a fightfx.sff and fighfx.air from any screenpack such as unknown motif

i will try now. :sugoi:



As for my own problems, I still can't figure out why songs won't loop. Adding bgm loop to stage def doesn't work either. I guess I'll have to convert all my files to .ogg. It might be better for me in the long run though.

i have always had that problem on version A.

put them on the data file, don't forget the system files

i jus did put it in data and got this:

alright u got me but some of these ppl dont get it as u can seee there r more ppl complaining wait ur not supposed to create a folder for fightfx.sff cause i jus took it from a screenpack n just paste it on to data folder thats all

But what characters do yall wud think wud be nice if they were to be made?

What button do you press to go into the Instant Kill state? These were my first characters i put on my hi-res mugen and i forgot how to do it. ???
Unfortunately, Muteki made it impossible for going into IK status unless you have another method for pushing A+B+X+Y all together. However, you can go into the CMD file and edit the command through Fighter Factory, I use B+C since it's so easy.

i used to do it but now i forgot. which command do i edit tho?
