i uodate my signature with the general progess %. when it's 90% it'l have a general release. there's alot that needs ironing out spriting and coding wise still

oooh, the stage looks nice, looks very patapon"ish" xD

however, his backwards walk is a bit odd


offtopic, did u add anything to psyke  ::)

some alternate animations and more frames to some walk/attack cycles. but he's moving along very slow.
about the backwards walk. i really couldn't think of anything else so i'll probably rework it later

Hah, very original.

The spear could kinda go a little more in an arc than it does now.

yeah iv'e worked on it a little more. the i also chaged the vel. so the patapon sorta shifts forward upon throwing the spear/axe

Oh, I guess you'll want to make projremanim=-1 and projremovetime=-1, and increase the projedgebound value.

right, i know how to align pcx files and correctly make them apear/hit ect but my problem is that it's pretty much



attack - projectile travels - hits person but doesn't disapear for about 10 clicks.
and if it misses it dissapears afterwards.

i want it to simpyl travel across the screan then disapear the SECOND it hits.
and if it misses to continue to the right and exit the screen.

sorry for the crappy wording :C

fixed up some stuff today, added a walk and turn in
also started on projectiles but i'm having a bit of trouble with that :P



You, should make it so them more damage you do to an enemy the more your patapon army grows.


see i'm tempted to make a helper. of the flag bearer. just walking alongside ect and have larger groups of patapons attacking during a "rain miracle"

EDIT: i finished a stage to be released with the early character,
you can also see here the rough spear projectile. hooray i managed to do it!

AWESOME GAME

looks like a good idea xD Did you rip the sprites?

I like the fact that the text pops up, good luck xD

there wasn't much of a way to rip the sprites. so i simply examined the art style and tryed to recreate it in sprite form

i'm open for suggestions aswell.
oh and each attack ( LP HP LK ect ) lets out the sound related to the move. CHAKA.wav ect

yep iv'e started working on a PATAPON character for mugen, he will encompass all weapons/skills of the varying patapon classes
some rythm based play may be implemented if i can work out the coding. for now here's some basic animations iv'e put down



Attacks ( patapon will be a 4 button character + dodge button )







there's still ALOT to be worked upon, but hopefully it'll come out great. and you guys will love it!

Welll i lost everything, all the pcx files, but luckily i have them in a large spritelot picture so they should be easy to convert again, i just have to go through the task of animating everything again and sorting out sound files and coding. It may take a while :P

A fatal move, with a short blast of concentraited gas, caussing the opponents skin to peel off in 4 horrizontal strips of flesh :3

Maybe some accidental punches/kicks?

like falling over but damaging the opponent

hm, i'm very limited with my stages as i usualy play the ones i know i like,

But what do YOU think is a obligatory stage to have just becauss it's that good?

There's one i sorta like, i dont have it but it looks great, it's a dryed out desert with a large skeletal frame of some creature in the background, but besides that my favourate stage has to be
the live house of the dark realm from darkstalkers.
