After seduc...um convincing my favourite Global Mod, he said that this thread could be made!

Here's what we know:

-Cel shaded graphics. Looks like a much better version of the style used in the Skyward Sword PVs.
-Large "open-world" like game. The world is huge. You can apparently travel to any location on the map at any time.
-Full camera control. Last seen in Wind Waker/GCN Twilight Princess.
-Horse riding returns. Last seen in Twilight Princess. Your horse has some AI that allows it to travel with minimal player input (dodging obstacles and such), allowing you to focus on other things like combat or surveying the area. Link can vault off his horse and attack enemies (with his bow at least)
-Link's appearance is slightly different to how he appears in other Zelda games. He wears a blue tunic, has no hat and has longer hair tied in a ponytail. Sometimes he is seen wearing a hooded cloak.

Things said during development:

-Game will be less linear. Such a thing was intended for Skyward Sword, but wasn't able to be done.
-Some Zelda gameplay traditions may be changed
-Possible multiplayer aspect
-Slated for 2015 release

Nail on the head. Not every Link is the same and the Skyward Sword Link is canonically a right handed swordsman.

Link doesn't hold his scabbard while he fights (but you already know that). I know that particular Link (the first game's one) uses his sword with his left hand (I guess, sprites don't really like those sorts of things) and he's usually depicted as such in other games.

I just wonder if there's a meaning to him being right handed in this game.......

Also maybe we should make a Zelda thread? I think Zelda is a series of games that deserves its own thread.

I'm really upset that the new Link is right-handed like Skyward Sword Link even though the game appears to be gamepad-only. This is complete bullshit Link is left-handed, it's canon, it's unfair >:[

Except Link's not left handed or right handed. He's ambidextrous. The most that was said in a Zelda game is that he prefers to use his left hand. Besides the direction of the new Zelda game seems to be this and he's holding his sword in his right hand:

Spirit Tracks is good. It's better than Phantom Hourglass. I feel the same about Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess as Jmorphman does, except I think I like Fi more than Midna (her talk about the leopard print underwear is silly and I like that).

I'm weird in the fact that I don't like the first Zelda game or a Link to the past. Probably due to the fact that I played them after Ocarina of Time. Also I'm one of the few who really likes Zelda 2.

I remember watching one of his videos saying that he like quit his day job to make youtube videos or something. I still don't see how you can make a living screaming about video games. :\

It'll just be confusing and be called "Guilty Gear" with no subtitle

Technically if you play a game for what it is and not what its sequel is, the game isn't actually missing anything. :P

I prefer the Zelda games as they are and not as the same as the first game but with better graphics.

Really, this shit, still? How very 'next gen'.
This is why I think 3d games are ugly. Also, that looks pretty ugly to me.
I have yet to be impressed. Like, you gotta do a LOT better.

That's a pretty low quality image. We'll have to wait for some actual screenshots.

Update time again. Because my past standards are less than substandard compared to my currents standards (I'm not gonna say "standard" again for a while), Shiki was recoded from scratch this week.

The boring SDM I made for her normal mugen release has been replaced by an auto combo based off the version from SS64

Here is a video showing both versions.

She also uses SS5 slash sound effects. Also I removed blood sparks since later instalments of the games that I like don't have blood.

I got it. They just make Street Fighter: Armageddon, with every damn Street Fighter character ever in the game.
It still wouldn't have Karin LOL
She'll be in the game as a redesigned character called "No Name".  Everyone's happy.

Basically they should make a Nameless-like Karin. An edgy clone with blond and brown hair (clone of Sakura and Karin) that uses Karin moves.

This what Omega's posts look like when I read them.

He's saying that Nintendo should ditch the main reason people buy their hardware by making their software multi-platform.

Why do you have problems with Shulk?

Got this game and it's really really really fun. I feel like getting max hits from Grand viper isn't a very pad friendly command.....
