I just freaking wish there was a damn save function of SOME KIND.

If there is such a thing, i havent figured it yet, and i got to the classic part where you have to figth all the bosses in a  row.

Actually it's the front arm that bugged me the most from your version XD Doesn't really look like a fighting stance to me.

It was supposed to recreate the early Turtle School stance:



But i guess it could use more work, it doenst feel good with both flexed legs.
Ill try to make that pose better :)

The main point wich why i dont like Balth´s Krillin its the head, eyes are small IMO and i dont feel like the head shape and volume works... and basically...

Its just my opinion and i respect people tastes, so dont take it hard.

I dont feel like my version is perfect or should be the one to be based off, it was just a try, mostly for fun.

for what ive heard, Mayas didnt thought about the world ending, just a new era will start.
Mayas cataloged man´s era like  "mans of wood" etc etc...
Currently we are the "mans of the wheat"

I dont think the world will end, but seeing how much fucked the economy is, i believe in somehow of a "change", but i doesnt have to be on this specific date :/

That snow effect is nice, i may try something similar (no need to take it from that stage)

Main problem of this stage is that i cant place snow in front of the chamber or the chars using Velocity or Sin.x/y
That would mess with the other modes and the snow would appear always over the chars and the chamber (even on the other modes)

(this happens because snow mode is at the very background, and other modes just appears in front of it)
So i think... to solve this, i could create a pre-made snow animation and make it appear with transparency.

-edit- oh btw iced, appearing ice blocks is planned, as for the breaking up sandcloks and lamps, is hard to explain but they are different parts with different deltas, its impossible to see this effect without moving arround the stage but it creates some depth effect :D

The extreme weather modes for the first version of the time chamber:

EXTREME HEAT

EXTREME COLD
Those weird pixels at the background move fast in the stage, making a blizzard effect at the background (i may need to make bigger snowflakes to put over the chars too)

That Chronos sprite is nice, but his arms are maybe to much bulky.

Blizzard, thats not a bad sprite, but i would have make it bigger.

Sprites and overall style its great, but dont use Vegeta to much as a base or he will end with the same base attacks.
Keep it up, sword attacks wont be easy :D

MOAR PROGRESS


As you can see, the chamber interior is way more detailed, also the sandclocks and those ball things have delta, so the stage have gain in depth sensation.
Added some props near the characters, A supply crate with Sayajin armors, magic beans and some hoi-poi capsules!

Iced,  desert stage wont have more variations, the ideal is one variation per stage, so the stormy version its the desert variation.
I really like your idea for the goku stage, we have seen him more fishing and eating arround the jungle than being in home XD
So as you say, we can put his home and the gohan shrine in the distance. (also i have in mind some nice re-usable sprites from capcom stages)

Red Ribbon idea is cool, but like ive said, related stages to the z2 chars have more priority.

The world tournament is a nice one also, but i dont have clever ideas on how to do it rigth now (also that stage is like in ALL the games, so lets give a shot to other locations first :) )
