It sounds to me more like if Poison's kiss should work more like a denjin hadouken (but I'm not sure, never played ffr by myself).
The char lacks win explods (super finish ecc) and I noticed that on N-groove the bar of the hyper moves you active with the 2-button press (dunno the name of that thing) is grey like in ex-groove instead of yellow. Otherwise pretty good char, compliments  ;)

About the groove system do you intend to borrow it from Warusaki3's chars or will you do a new one from scratch? Well ok, groove bars are alwayes the same, but main differences would be in ex-groove and maybe interface in the second case. Plus along the groove bars, your system will include groove points, finest ko animation and such?

I surely missed something somewhere, is this cvsx a full game you are working on? Or at least some sort of standard you are attaining at in creating your chars?

That would be great, I was hoping at least for an update on his fx (like finest k.o. and such) in order to blend with recent cvs chars if the whole split-in-two thing was too time consuming  :P

Yeah!! CvS roster keeps increasing, this is simply wonderful  :sugoi:
And finally the rest of the cast gets separated (er...almost the rest...what's wrong with poor kuroko and rugal? Ok I know a god rugal is already out but...it is you who made 2 of them and they are different :))
I'm very pleased with chun li's new moves too, I hope to see soon the missing moves in ryu and gouki (I mean moves that weren't in cvs but were in street fighter III...there are only 3 o 4 of them though).

Only things I noticed is that in recent H"'s chars small portraits don't share palette with the char anymore, so they remain the same default color no matter what palette you choose....as I said this happens only in recent chars, like e.honda, sagat, adon and now cody while in previous chars this isn't happening even now that they are updated.

er....he changed the code regarding his groove system, so now I don't know what to change in order to have groove selection in every round. Anyone can help? It would be nice if he could implement this option at least in his config file, allowing the player to choose between every round selection as Warusaki's style or groove fixing after first round like usually H"'s does  :P
It is quite annoying too the fact that in simul mode, if paired with Warusaki's creations, H"s chars will always hide their groove gauge, no matter if they are first or second member of the team  :S
I wish he can add some cvs2 drop sound effect and make his characters combo accuracy.
me too :sugoi: Plus I noticed he didn't updated sounds in every char, Iori for example seems to have the old low-quality sounds. I hope he'll updated the new ones to every missing char  ::)

Regarding Sagat great char, just a question tho: his intro vs ryu is the original from cvs2? I remembered a different one from the alpha series where sagat's scar flashed in front of ryu, but dunno if this was in cvs2 too (however if it was not the alpha one is much prettier! :sugoi:)

Coding wise, though, he would really benefit from having his chars coded by somebody experienced

Please, I'm talking to good mugen creators, please, anybody of you take these sprites and make the char they deserve....it's just a wasted occasion to have something really unique on mugen....

maybe someone could even think to create a cvs-gatsu sort of  ;)

er....as far as I know every existing cvs char in mugen with groove points has a way to disable them via config.txt  :-\
 I think H" should improve the quality of his fx sounds to match the other chars quality  :P

yeah, I was not sarcastic when I said who cares...I would delete ex-groove in any cvs char for what I care of it. I'd like just to see all the various authors respecting standards like interface and such, that is obviusly warusaki's one since he has created the highest number of chars and people like jesuszilla/kira and rolento already use it.... ;)

H really needs to add gp bar, make the chars more like warusaki's ones
and the possibility of changing the groove every match and maybe change de ex groove just like warusaki's ones
you don't need to call him "stupid", it's rude, since h makes good chars

To add the possibility of changing groove every match open the Cvs2_system.cns file, press alt+T and search for "groove", then on trigger1 = RoundNo = 1 & Match=1 delete the match part. Done.

I'd like to know how to add the transparent effect to the groove selection like in waru's chars, and how to disable the music pause during opponent's k.o....then the "interface" would be exactly like warusaki's one, ex-groove aside of course but who cares of that  :P

I noticed that warusaki's groove selection has a sort of transparent effect while H"'s one lacks of it...is there a way to implement that? Anyone could be so kind to tell me how...? And also regarding the sound stop in the finishers, warusaki's chars use it only in super moves finishers, H"s in special and normal moves finishers too and I'd like to disable it... :P

Plus, playing in simul mode, I've experienced, using Iori as a partner, that sometimes he can start fighting before the fight actually starts, before the "Round #, Fight!" logo finishes displaying I mean...

Looks like H" is taking cues from Jesuszilla :muh:

if it so they could both work for an intro between andy and mai....it's quite strange for mai to have an intro with joe and not with andy  ;P


EDIT: H" still has to correct the position of message explods to fit perfectly other creators' chars and more important, he has to implement the disappearing of the power bar in simul mode when n.2 in team, and when n.1 he has to implement groove selection! For some reason the bar selection is fixed by the variable var(30), and doesn't allow to choose it in-game. Bah  o_O

amazing!! Finally the chars are updated to match the other existing cvs chars with effects and interface done properly!! Thanks H", I was waiting for this for a long time.  :sugoi: :sugoi: By the way, why Mai is the only one to have functioning special intros? I saw that the Iori & co. ones are coded, but for some reason they don't trigger in-game  o_O

Great char, only bug I noticed is that sometimes randomly appears the "groove" write at the side of the screen  o_O (the same "groove" in groove selection), this happened with felicia too but I have still to check if the bug is present in this new version.

About your canceled works well, that's a pity really, I hope you can finish zero and nash at least (I remember a Gill and a John Talbain in your wips...well, I'll complain for them for a looong time  :'()

pretty cool. Now somebody needs to redo the sprites in cvs style.

I'll come to Portugal personnally and throw you a "boot to the head" if you remove SF3 Parry system from your characters ! >:(
Parry is the best Capcom invention ever IMO (even better than Alpha counters), keep them.


Fully agree, parry is one of the smartest and coolest feature in a combat system, plus I didn't find myself using zero counter at all since parry works way better for me and doesn't consume super levels
