However, to anyone who's downloaded the code from Jazzy's (aokmaniac13's) site, please note that the version of the code he uploaded was outdated, ugly, and somewhat flawed, so please be sure to use the latest version from my site instead.

I'll have a look on that tomorrow and post here what parts must be updated.

EDIT :
* DEF file : nothing
* AIR file : nothing
* CMD file :
   - [button remapping] : code and comments
   - [Default values] : comments
   - comment line above the -| CPU |-  (may be already in Jazzy's version, not sure).
   - comments modified above the -| Super Motions |-
* CNS file :
   - States 9741/9742 : at least parenthesis removed, better copy/paste for safety.
   - States -2 : idem but please note that an ATC sctrl has been added at the end
   - States -3 : same again (ie state unfair, trigger1,1 changed)
* TXT file :
   - Didn't check, anyway just copy/paste all files (unless you added your own comments in... in that case... good luck ! ;D)

It's pretty faster to update than I thought at first.

Indeed.
Open source = TDS, but as he is no more really active on the web, it's the mod here that mostly try to keep to keep the topic updated.
Yet sometimes, with bad copy/paste, tiny mistakes can appear.

Tony, would you confirm that the ones at excalibur are the sprites ripped by TDS ? (According to what I saw in the site, it seems to be good, but I would like to be sure)

AFAIR I have saved some too.

Piece of code with PosAdd, which is a controller that move your char from a specified amount of pixel when triggered :

where "x" for trigger1 true = (1 * (-17)) + (0 * (-8)) + (0 * 23) + (0 * 7) + (0 * -10)
                                           = -17 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0
                                           = -17 of course, which is the x value for trigger1 true.
                                              ... same for other triggers.

@Black Dahlia Isis: I seem to have lost my text document that tells the exact location Mai is in on the screen. But I don't think I had to move her any do to sprites going off screen so everything should still have perfect axis.

I do believe that was too the work of Recruta42, although I don't think he used the debug bios method to rip Heidern from KoF98...
Indeed :yes:, it's Recruta, and indeed sprites are cropped so no axis available :-\. Added to the Kof area.

Do you still need Athena from CVS2?
Missed !  :sugoi: I was planning to start a Mai from CvS2 because existing one (from conversionworld) is really good but explods are from CvS and are really pixellized. So I would make a "BDI version" ;D with better sparks, improved sprites (somes have some tiny glitches), and may be some tiny new stuff.

So if you can/have time, yes I would be pleased if you could ripp Mai CvS2 for me. :)

Ok :)

I know on mugenesis a guy who ripped/is ripping Heidern from Kof. I'll add him as soon as the site will be back (seems to be down till tomorrow), cause I don't remember his name.

Plus, I 'll add my Vanessa spritepack when finished, and btw I started to rip kula. About 700 sprites has been ripped. I'm now renaming them for a easier use in mugen.)

I'm launching today my new site. As TDS converted me to open source, I added a dedicated page for that in it.

It's a tiny start, a bit ridiculous by the way ;D with only one hi-res anim available, but eh ! the amount of available stuff will grow along the next month (at least : another anim + half of a char). ^_^


Permissions to use them are detailled on my site. (To sum up : users have to credit the original creator of the game. Then, crediting me for ripping would be appreciated. :))

may be that should be a keypoint to prevent this bug.
