Yeah that's strange about the special intros, I checked the cns and the changestates are still there for it... wtf?

The config.txt is awesome tho, you can screw around with ex groove to be however you like and turn air guard off for grooves besides C... sweet!!

21 years old, 9 years in Mugen.  Holy shit, almost half my life  o_O

First characters I ever had were sfa3 Gouki and Vega (M.Bison) by VK and Kyo and K' by NeoGouki.  Neo's Kyo introduced me to KoF.  The following week I bought KoF Dream match '99 (which was a port of '98 for the DC).

I am using a gamepad.  I'm not saying the charge down moves are incorrectly programmed in the cmd or anything, I've just noticed that simply defining a command as ~20$D, U, b in a mugen cmd produces much harder to perform moves than in the original game.  It's mugen's fault not swiper's.

With that in mind I've noticed some creators use different coding tricks to remedy this.  If i'm not mistaken I believe vyn might know what I'm talking about.

One more question, do I just really suck or is Iori unable to chain air strong kick to crouching strong punch.  Not saying he should be able to just asking.  Which KoF's is this chain present in anyway?

I figured that was the case, but I got confused for a sec because I tried it with Sander's chars and they crouch... and then I realized WLS's Terry and Iori keep running.

Hey, about the running to crouch issue.

I just realized no mugen character I've ever played besides the ones in this game continue to run when switching from holding front to df.  To be honest though, I havn't gotten a neo-geo emu since reformatting my pc so I can't check for you how it works in KOF.  I do however think you should make it to do whatever it does in KOF, whether or not it is consistent with mugen default.

Holy shit have I been waiting for this!  It's downloading right now, I'll edit this post with feedback as soon as I play it.

EDIT: OK, I'm loving it... I am also fond of the 98/ssf2t style of play.

some issues
- I'm sure you intentionally left it out but Iori feels weird without his -> lp lp "unique move."
- The super sparks get cut off at the bottom for air supers. (ex. kim's qcf,qcb k air super)
- I found Kim's charge d,u k move especially hard to pull off compared to other kims with this move.
- While running if I switch from holding front to holding df, I keep running, is this intentional?

That's all I found so far, I'll keep you posted if I find anything else.  Again, love the idea here, can't wait to see more.

Hi all,

So I see this topic in the releases section about Enlightened Shadow's KOF XIII SP.  The description says that it has portraits included, and sounds like a dream come true.... I'm drooling!  Check the links, low and behold, they're down!  Google it, nothing.  Dismay.

I've actually found a full game including this SP, but it was a very outdated verison of the SP.

I'm looking for the December 3rd, 2011 version of this SP.  Anyone have it???

I know its a hefty file, and will probably need some form of hosting, but just in case, here is my e-mail: asikolas44@live.com

Thank you, found what I was looking for.  Also realized something, if I adjust "attack" under [Data] in the cns, does that only apply to "damage =" values and not targetlifeadds??

Please read the readme.

If you are using mugen plus your problem maybe due to an installation error. 
Also, the readme addresses the issue of the missing letters in the name font, there is an alternate system file.

i'm still waiting for cvs2 iori/maki/mai/kyosuke warusaki3's version
warusaki3's char are better than h's ones
He's pointed out a few times he wouldn't redo characters that his friend (that is, H'') already made.

too bad, then i'll never play with cvs2 iori/maki/mai/kyosuke...raiden too(i forgot)
at least he could remade rei's ones(they are not cvs2 char...for sure)

Yeah that is too bad... wait... what?  What do you mean you'll never play them, it's waru or nothing?  Make 'em urself.

Holy shit those are actually from the game!?  So glad Capcom decided to fix that in the home release with Japanese voice actors.

about the Priority...if is the Attack priority, is the SAME priority used in My  SFTM Ken.....

No, the input time is fine, the command for shoryuken has to be placed higher in the cmd, and always before hadouken.  Both Ken and Gouki have this problem.

About the over-sized Ryu, he has an alternate def file to make him normal size, but the Japanese creator is sort of making fun of the movie by giving him ridiculously americanized voice samples.  He even makes fun of the English pronunciation of Ryu's name by spelling RA-I-YUU in katakana on the website.  If you don't mind the voice its a solid character, and hilarious to play with.

The only thing other than the lifebars is a fix for the vs screen in the altsystem.def

Here's a big update - now version 2.0

-added simul lifebars
-added frames for lifebar faces
-added teammate frames and KO spr for turns lifebars
-removed lifebar names
-fixed versus screen for alt system
