Sounds like someone want's in on these private sonics. Btw did any of you get to test that sonic by Kong? It is the best character he's ever made. Problem is that's not saying much.

Don Drago's Takuma is a projectile. OH SNAP. Here's the funny part, I coded it to hit only projectiles to reflect, but i forgot to include that it must be a helper so a bug like this wouldn't happen

Okay his attacks are way to strong, and how do you turn into super sonic??
I tried about every single button combination that is "mvc" style.  :'(

the goku voice; drop it.  :sugoi:

fun character though!

this sonic only transforms to super as a level 3 hyper move, and its D,DF,F x+y+z. its all 3 punch buttons.

Since when, IN ANY VS SERIES GAME, was there a super that takes ALL 3 PUNCHES?

The fx are hi-res. you need mugenplus or better to view them properly. The sprites were also ripped at 2x scale. in normal mugen they look twice as pixelated.

Yeah, the game you're talking about was made for the snes also. but the sprites look much worse IMO. So i don't plan on touching them. Also his "Overdrive" also known as Spirit Pulse was an invention of my own. Not in the game. I also recall Yuusuke using his shotgun attack as a explosive uppercut in a episode. I don't remember the name of it but I'm quite sure of it. Anyway, why would I recreate a move from a game that has nothing to do with the show? You ask me to make moves more like the show then to make a move from a completely different series?

Now, about the demon form, in order for me to do any of that, I would require sprites. If you will make them. I will consider adding this. But if not, don't ask for the impossible.

Nice.  I've been hoping someone would make some good YYH characters, and this one isn't bad at all.  The sprites look decent enough, and he plays really well.  There are one or two things that could use improvement, though.

* I haven't been able to get his Super Spirit Gun hyper to work.  Perhaps make the command a little easier?
* I don't want to sound like a jerk, but the throws look simply awful.  The one where he grabs them and flips them backward in particular needs to be sped up some.
* The big portrait could be a little better.
*  I find the way that the stage bgm stops for for his winpose a little annoying, especially since most of the time he isn't saying anything anyway.

Those last two are just my opinion, and not really that important.  All in all, this is a solid character.  I'll be looking forward to seeing more YYH characters from you (especially Kuwabara :sugoi:).

The command works fine for me on keyboard and game pad.

That big portrait is from the game, don't like it, I hope you can provide a better one. I would appreciate it honestly.

The stage bgm doesn't stop. Try redownloading him.

This character is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring. I immediately deleted him after I woke up from his incredible amount of boring-ness that overwhelmed me so much which put me to sleep. *yawn* Nothing at all interesting, just a major snooze-fest. Too many missed opportunities with this character. He could've had way more originality if you put the work into it and built him from scratch, but nooo you had to use some old ass sprites from a game nobody has ever heard of. I know he had some specials, but I had fell asleep by then. NEEEXT!!

Would you like to tell me those missed opportunities you're talking about? Like wise for the originality? Tell you what, take what I did and make it better if it bothers you so much. Or if that's too hard for you then maybe you should have gave a better description of what was so boring about him. And about my old ass sprites. You see, there was only two 2d fighters with him on it and the second one looked much worse than the one i chose to rip from. So while your sleeping, dream about posting something useful instead of abusing the english language in my thread.

And anotha thing, his throw only has like... 3 frames. I mean are you kidding? And it looks so retro (in a bad way).

It's from the game, don't like it? I truly care. I can only do so much with 3 frames of animation, and unless your a spriter who's willing to help make more, that doesn't do much for me either. :-\

Flashy effects don't make the character hi-res... otherwise CvS characters would also be considered hi-res, dumbshit.

when u use effects that have to be scaled to .5. it looks weird in normal mugen thus the reason why they are hi-res. and he looks fine to me in my mugenplus. but in normal mugen the sprites are indeed pixelated as well as the fx looking flat out weird.

It was made for the snes, and unless your a big yu yu hakusho fan, it was overlooked in the emulation/mugen community. It's called "Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Sho".
I played that game like 5-7 years ago. I always wondered why almost noone attempted to make mugen characters out of it. I always wanted a hiei mugen character but all the one's I ever found were beta crap, I always hoped someone would eventually make hiei from this snes game, unfortunately it still hasn't happened. It'd be nice if you could make a good Hiei.

I've got to try out this Yusuke, the original game was fun and your characters are always good so I'm sure this is a good character.

I'm making the entire cast of that game.

Oh hey folks, been a while from my normal standards of one character a month I know, but I can give a explanation as to why. I had two wips that both ended up being put on hold for one reason or another, then I ended up just going through creators block. However, I have came out of it after decided to create ever character from this hidden gem of a game. It was made for the snes, and unless your a big yu yu hakusho fan, it was overlooked in the emulation/mugen community. It's called "Yuu Yuu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Sho". Anyway, the first up was Yuusuke Urameshi, the protagonist of the series(duh). He plays close to the source but I still gave it an original twist. This twist is known as "Spirit Pulse". It is more of a comeback technique, but it varies on its exact ability from one char to another.

What Yuusuke gains is the following:

Only can be preformed when life is below 1/2. It allows simultaneous chaining.
Another hyper can be preformed during this mode but it will sacrifice all of
your spirit energy. However, your attack is severely lowered during this time.
This mode is for combo freaks :P.

Anyway, the main gimmick of that game was this meter called the Spirit Gauge. The exact definition is as followes:

That Blue Bar under his life is his Spirit Guage. It is used when
preforming moves such as Spirit Gun. When it is depleted it slowly rebuilds.
When it is too low, you cannot preform Spirit commands, so use in moderation.
Spirit moves can be recognized by a "*" in the readme. It can be adjusted for your lifebars by
changing is position in the axis.txt

I believe that's it. If you have any questions or feedback, post it here.

Note: He is a hi-res character because he was ripped at 2x scale and uses hi res effects.
