Here are the changes!
1- they changed all the gauges, they made it glow to indicate the change in your or your opponent's situation in the battle, and they made it in a way that you can recognize it by a glance so you can tell your or your opponent's situation just by looking at the gauges, so that you can concentrate more on your strategy in the middle of the fight.(look at the upper right picture)
2- a new gauge just for the critical counter.(look at the upper right picture)
3- the effect when some one pulls a hard punch or kick to make a critical counter has become more identifiable than before, in a way that you can easily tell that your opponent is aiming for a critical counter.(look at the upper right picture)
4- (pulling a DM, round start, K.O....etc.) such turning events in the middle of the game, at the time when it occurs a production occurs at the same time(like special thing happens in the back of the background like the lower left pic when the round started in the stadium stage or the lower right pic at the K.O. screen in the french stage), and this is not about flash or stuff, it is about making the game more alive which is one of the important things in fighting games.
5- the feeling (i kicked his ass!!) when you win, or the feeling (he got me!!) when you lose, they have put their effort to create such feelings at such moments (what did they exactly mean by this i have no idea, i cant tell from any picture)
the picture on the upper left is just to show you the difference between the previous loketest's version(the upper left pic) and this loketest's version(the upper right pic)
what pics are you talking about exactly? i have to use an proxy to get to kof xii site, so the pic may not load up

) you cant block in the air, right?

) but the facial expressions and camera movement makes up for it. and did it give a mortal kombat fatality-like feeling to you?
