The SNES mouse sucked though :X It was a cheap ball mouse.

I don't know how people lived in the days of ball mice.... they sucked so much.

Did you expect to make a character in a couple afternoons or something?

Obviously cell phone games are the best, and that's why all other forms of gaming shrivel before its might and popularity.

Quote
I would like to have a game with good chars, not with chars that are 'on the hype'.
See, the problem with that is "good" is subjective. One man's overhyped character is another man's favorite character.

Capcom should put whatever characters they want in the game.

If anything, these quotes should be magnified 5 times, bolded, underlined, and then start flashing various colors.

Just for fun.

Bit saddened by it being 3d (or 2.5d if you prefer). Maybe I'm old fashioned, but sprites are awesome.

Everything that has ever existed.

Then CvS/MvC/evil/ect versions of all of them.

More character customization is great, but by no means necessary. People just shouldn't be forced to play something butt ugly or revolting, like elves.

Anything you can instill creativity into is "art."

For example: A chair is a pretty mundane object. One mass produced on an assembly line would be dismissed as "not art" by most anyone. How about a chair made and decorated by a craftsman, though? Most people would probably consider it possible to be art in such a case.

Why? It's not because it's hand made... it's because someone saw something, and thought of ways to make it interesting. That's it.

But like everyone else points out, it's not like it matters.

Thus he is known as a film critic and not a game critic.

People spout opinions about things they know nothing about all the time. Only difference here is the dude in question is well known.

I don't think there's ever been anything resembling quality control.

Clay fighters' graphics were made through actual claymation, so doing something similar is far from impossible (just really tedious).

I always thought Saurfang himself should've died at the wrathgate, if for no other reason than to stop the stupid saurfang jokes.

While I agree wc3 is better and that wc2 hasn't aged well, you can't put night elves down as a positive quality! The less elves the better.

Elves are narcissistic treehugging pricks. Butt ugly and full of themselves, they're disgusting.

The only good elves are dead elves and the (much rarer) type that invite strangers to their forest for booze and partying.

PS: dwarves rock.

I see we're beating old, dead horses to death in this thread. I think I'll join in:

hey guys if you put your char on teh interblag, peeps might take code from it and use it in their own chars! just a heads up so this horrible tradegity doesn't happen to you too, bro, and if it does, at least you saw it comin'

Am I doing it right? I think I'm a bit low on the self righteousness.

Well, assuming the various versions are unique enough, I'd go for separate characters.

If they're all similar and are just different styles, I'd try to make a CvS style groove system (selectable during the intro I assume).
